When I think about me in the future, about what I will become in a few years, I have no clues.

In fact, I tend to imagine my life based in what my life is now, and in that future I am not sure if I will be able to have a life.

If nothing changes in the way I am, I have few certains: I will be unhappy all the time, I will be alone with no porpuse in life, and I will never ever have a relationship. I still hope the two first ones won't become true, but I'm very sure about the third.

I just wish I could jump to the last chapters, as I sometimes do to see how the story goes on movies or books, to get the confirmation about my guesses, at least I wouldn't have to wait until then.

Life is boring.

so why not imagine what you would like your life to be? then pick the simpliest part of that imagined life and set some small goals to start working toward. without having anything in your imagination, you have nothing to work toward. if all you have pictured is doom and gloom, then doom and gloom is all you are ever going to get. decide on something that is going to make you feel successful, that is going to utilize your strenghts, that is going to make you feel good. i felt like such a waste. i wanted more but never felt like i was going to make it. i wanted to go back to school and get a career but had no idea what i wanted to do. i couldnt see it. so i went and took one class a semester. you have to get all those garbage classes out of the way to get a degree anyway. it took me forever but by the time i got my associates i knew what i wanted to do. it took me ten years to graduate. but now my dream is realized and my income is doubled and i finally have a life. one small step at a time.

It doesn't seem like it now, but things really do get better. You will be surprised ten years from now when you look back at your life and see how much has happened that you never thought could happen.
Thanks for this!

I wish so. But now I am far from believing in it.
