I go to a day program in which members are not very welcoming and I think it's all because I brought a bad reputation to myself. I think I act negatively, dominant, a suck up, a hermit and a gossiper, but I want to unlearn those old broken behavior patterns and start being more likeable. Because apparently, my attitude is not working. Especially one a staff in particular. She always acts stuck up around me, and it's hard to be myself when I feel I have to put a mask to hide my true personality. I just want to be honest with my feelings and have confidence to speak my mind.

You have the power within yourself to make changes happen. It's all about the effort that you put into it. Take small steps towards improving yourself, and don't have too high expectations. By taking small steps your reputation will slowly improve and people will come around. You don't have to do this alone - is there a trusted friend you can talk to about your honest feelings through this process?
