So here is my day. I wake up go to school. I have a group of people I sit with a breakfast and there cool. I go to all my classes some with friends some without. I eat lunch alone everyday because none of them are in my lunch. I go home say hey to my parents and just go into my room and go on my computer and watch YouTube and Netflix with no contact with anyone then go to sleep. I occasionally will talk to a friend for awhile on skype or something and VERY occasionally will go to a friends house or to the movies or something, but that happens once in a blue moon. When I am with friend(s) at school and in classes and stuff I am really happy, I love the social contact. But when I get home I barely have any of it. I don't know what to do or how to balance my life correctly. I don't really like going outside or playing sports because I am dyspraxic so I just suck at it and it puts a barrier between me and people. I really only have one or two friends that I talk to routinely at school but I don't know how to really go about hanging out with them or talking to them more often. I also need to meet more people, get a girlfriend who is similar to me etc. I don't know how to go about these things. I want to fix this but am not sure how. I need to set a goal. How much social contact do you guys think is healthy per day? Obviously it fluctuates per person but I know what I am doing now is not okay. And what should I do as a male 15 year old do to meet new people and talk to my current friends more often and hang out with them?

Sounds like a conundrum of sorts. Technology along with live gamer accounts is part of it. Another is extra curricula, the generational standard. Plus parent limitations.

It could very well take coordination on your end to arrange something of interest if getting out of the home and being with friends is as important. But, I honestly don't know of many teen social stuff the way technology changed things. Which brings me back to extra curricula. Volunteering at a soup kitchen. Belonging to a youth church group. That's about all I can come up with.
