wEIRD thing happened, A while back I finally told my oldest sister about my bipolar. She seemed accepting and non judgemental at the time. Well, the other day it came out that she never really believed it--completely: "People with blood type A [which would be me] don't have depression." "[blood type]A's just have high adrenaline and that's what gets confused or mistaken as mania." "Bipolar isn't really a disorder."

It's extremely hard for family members to accept and understand. Loved ones too.
It's even hard for me to understand even though I've suffered bipolar for a long time.

Ahhhh more struggles with your family

I think at some point its just healthy for anyone with a MI to just not expect family and even some friends to understand, care or believe it... Yes that sounds like total shyt! but.... in reality it is probably the most healthy thing you can do for yourself.

It's okay to be mad angry and flat pissed over this.. grieve the fact that there are some people in your life that are just unable to be supportive.

Just take the best care of you as you can
