Well I ran into the woman I've been obsessing over for months. We had a brief conversation and I asked how she was doing. She mentioned her new boyfriend and she said she wasn't certain where the relationship was going (I sort of fell back into my sordid dream). I told her that I hope she is happy and I'm pulling for her. She smiled and said I've always been so nice (dropped a thousand feet!). We said goodbye and I'm still holding on to that last sentence. Soon it will dissipate and I'll hit reality like a bad traffic accident - moments so good and so few. Thanks

Maybe this will provide some sort of closure for you.
Much good karma your way.

Mac, please don't fuel your daydreams..... you aren't helping yourself at all! Please don't hang on the combination of her calling you nice and mentioning her uncertainty about the relationship as being signals that she may be interested in you. Sharing that information with you is demonstrative of friendship.
