Dropped my kids off at my (ex) husband's place. My son was taking ages to come back out ... I'll cut to the chase - I went into his place and saw cards all over his lounge mantle.
I started reading one .... and took it ... unseen ... out of his place. *gulp* It was a gushing card filled with kisses and I love yous and can't wait to hold you in my arms, you're so loyal (I nearly vomited) and you're the person I choose to love forever. Not likely the card will be noticed as missing for some time as there were a lot there but it gave me some insight into her. I think his mistress really does love him! |

![]() I'm sorry he betrayed your love and trust with her, and that you feel absolutely disgusted by the card. But keep solace in that if he has cheated once, he'll cheat again, and it will be the mistress he cheats on with a second mistress. She'll be the one feeling the pain and sorrow, not just you. Hang in there. ![]()

I still think he may have lied with her to begin with and said we were separated when he first met her.

![]() Okay, maybe not the most mature route, granted, but satisfying none the less, right? EDIT: Oh, and though I don't recommend doing the things mentioned in this song, it's fun to listen to nonetheless. Sorry if it's not to your liking, but it makes me think of the whole damned stinky situation your in and what's possibly on your mind.

I've never met her to date ... and I don't think I'd want to. I'll admit I'm jealous of her (kinda like she's got my husband ... he was supposed to be the man I was meant to be with for the rest of my life!) |

I admit the name sounds oddly ironic (and very amusing to boot) but they are actually a type of snack cake sold in the US.

Displaying huge professing of love on a mantel is cheesy as heck. Sometimes I wonder with such explicit expressions making sure everyone knows ( exhibit on a mantel) is kind of suspicious to me. Dumb.

You are far from crazy. Taking that card was just done out of jealousy and pain. Now taking that card and pinning it to their door with a knife would be kinda crazy... Still, not unusual.
She's insecure, writing lovey dovey cards to him. Desperately trying to keep him.

She might love who she think she knows right now but she hasn't really known him all that long right? They're probably still in the limerence stage, that's not mature love, mature love doesn't gush like that,

He has kids visiting. What's the need for kids to read those cards? Especially if mom and dad just separated and not even divorced yet. What a bad taste

What goes around comes around, she might believe they are in love but if he cheated one chances are he will cheat on her too. Relationships that start as affairs don't often succeed. Maybe that could be of some small consolation? I agree with divine, keeping those cards around when the kids are there is just bad bad taste and character on his part. He sounds pretty darn selfish and without consideration for others.

TACKY TACKY TACKY !!!! lol Check us out; we're unanimous (so far) -- how often does that happen? And yeah: A man who will cheat on his wife is...A Man Who will Cheat On His Wife is... A man who will cheat on his Wife! Feel sorry for her in a way, but ...she asked for it, she's got it, and it ain't much of a prize. {{Huggles, Hitch.}} xo Chyia, smh bc she does sound desperate |

She's certainly made herself quite at home around my kids. They've known her for 4 months. As for how long my ex has known her for I truly don't know. But I reckon he started his affair with her 5 May 2015 when I first found the box of condoms

My daughter's boyfriend cheated on her. He cheated on her with his best friend's girlfriend. What a cliche! So after he destroyed two relationships (hers and his best friend's), she kicked him to the curb. Within two weeks he was with someone new. So he was probably cheating on her with that girl also. Months later he married that new girl, isn't that just so precious? And he gushed about how happy he was on Facebook. He hasn't posted on Facebook since January 2016. Is the honey moon over? Did he fail to grow up for his new love? Did he finally realise HE IS THE PROBLEM. They always end up at the same place...nowhere.

Limerence can last a few years, people who are hooked on that burst of hormones often go from relationship to relationship and are prone to affairs, they get bored with mature love and the grass is always greener. This may well be the case with your ex.
Good for you blocking him on facebook - those gushing posts/pics sound like one or both are very needy for attention/approval. |
