Growing up is laughing in the faces of those that try to say nasty and hurtful things about you. I used to get offended when people said nasty things used to sweat it now I find it so amusing! Someone said I was an alcholic? I laugh my *** off and think and what the **** where is that coming from? It makes good comedy if you let these *****es project there own negativity on you they will never become accountable for there own action. Let's face it the majority of people that insult others are projecting there own insecurities onto you I will laugh if she is the one who ends up alcholic on the street with nothing begging others for a drink. Like I always say it is all about perspective... Perspective is probably the best thing in the world.

Well, at least it doesn't hurt you, but. Do you really consider in some way "funny" the idea of these insults?

Just take them as they are, dumb words of dumb people, no need to feel ofended, but also not to feel amused or laughing of it. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but it sounds as if you wished that negativity into those people. Please don't take this the wrong way

I wish people looked at themselves before speaking ill of each other that is what I am trying to say even though I may sound a bit ill speaking. I know of lots of people who are alcholic and then say that other people are I just want her negativitely to go back where it came from back to herself. You know what I mean?

Almost like she flings something at me but I am rubber and it flys off of me back to her because she is glue.

"Alcoholic" all by itself isn't really offensive word, it's a name of addiction. But it depends in what context its being used. Why are they calling you an alcoholic?

If people called me an alcoholic I'd be laughing because I don't consume alcohol at all. Now when the person actually is an alcoholic, it's a bad idea to call them that until they themselves realize they have an addiction and refer to themselves this way.

If I may ask do you drink excessively? How much? How often? Etc who are the people who call you that? How well do they know you?

I don't even really drink that much at all like only on special occasion and people or at a party sometimes with family but I have never been someone who lives on alcohol and its not like when I do stop drinking I tremble so I wouldn't classify myself as an alcoholic I would just say that person is ill informed. Like she is the sister of my friend and I did have a few classes with her at school and I hang out with her sister and people thought because we were so close that we were going out but really we were just really close. My friend was the one who told me that her sister said I was an alcoholic and was paranoid. I thought to myself yes I am paranoid but I wouldn't necessarily call myself an alcoholic. The last time I drunk was probably a month ago with a mate and I only got slightly tipsy.

I wonder why she is even a friend if she repeats some stupid things her sister says about you.

My mother also said that she thought I shouldn't be friends with someone like that she says a good friend wouldn't even repeat those things.
