I have a huge crush on a girl at my grocery store, and after a couple months of seeing her and seeing signs that she may like me back, today I made my move. I got her a card with two cups of coffee on the front and on the inside I wrote, "Coffee, my treat?" with my name and number. I've never pursued a woman before because I've never been able to read the signs very well, and I have no idea if this girl is gay, but from the interactions I've had with her I thought I could at least get to know her over a cup of coffee. Well, I've had this card in my purse for a month, and I'd find any excuse to go to the grocery store to see her, always disappointed when she isn't there. I've waited until I was fairly sure it was the right time with the times she is there, and today she had asked me if I had facebook or instagram. I gave her the card and she gave me a big hug, and then I left so she could open it. I was shaking from head to toe, and my heart was pounding as I gave her the card. I've never felt this way about anyone, and she may not even share the same feelings or even be gay! But I just have an inkling, a sliver of hope, with the way we interact when we see each other it is similar to bestfriendship with a hint of flirtation. Today she even noticed I recently had a haircut (I hardly took anything off!) and that my choker was cute. She's always excited when she sees me (and I the same). I really, really hope she feels the same way I feel about her!

She Keeps Me Warm (the song and music video is how I feel about her):

I am sorry she already has a gf. However on the plus side, you read the signals right, that's a huge positive.

I know it's not how you wanted things to go, but try and take the plus points out of it.

You were super brave, and if your able to over come your disappointment, good friends are hard to come by.

All the best Lark, I still say well done.(hugs)
