I've been seeing girl for 3 months and she is great. This is actually longest relationship I've been in as my normal tendency is to run when getting too close to person. With her it is easy, we're just together. Lately I've been feeling anxious and questioning relationship when I'm alone. When I'm with her I don't think this way.
I'm unsure what to do. I want to talk to her about it but it is not easy for me to open up about my feelings. I partially feel I should just end it so she can find someone who truly deserves her but other part of me is afraid if I do it'll be a mistake. I really don't want to hurt her |

Sure, I think it's okay to talk to her about it in the spirit of openness and honesty, all those kinds of things - good things. I've expressed my inner doubts to a girlfriend in the past and was quite surprised at the reassuring response I received. Don't end the relationship too soon Peen, just the mere fact that she's with you tells me she likes you. I understand, though - it's common insecurity. Pick a nice time and tell her you'd like to talk with her. Good on you Peen, you're doing well. All the best.

I’m a runner too! My best friend accidentally slipped in exposing that to my current partner. So it was sort of a conversation we had to have about 3 months in. I expressed that I don’t want to but feel the need to at times. My partner was understanding and told me that if I had the need to, to just let him know and we could work on it together. We’re almost at a year now.
Having the talk would be beneficial so that either you both can decide what to do and she doesn’t get confused as to what she did wrong. |
