I am embarrassed every time I see my parents when I'm on meds. I understand how I look like. I can't focus and concentrate on one thing. Can't have a casual conversation for a long period of time. But the worst is the look they give me. I know they are trying, too. But that's just sad

Nope, I'm pretty sure my therapist knows better and we discussed that, so everything is fine. Guess that's just a bad period. I'll handle that.

Why would you see them off meds vs on? Do you mean you stopped meds and its an issue or am I misunderstanding?

I am so sorry, @MellowHoly! Perhaps You need to talk to them about ALL of this and see how it ALL goes from there? I certainly don't think they want to judge you on purpose, but it is your right to let them know that their behavior is bothering you a little bit. Let them know ALL of this is bothering you and see how it ALL goes from there! It is your right! Let us know and see how it goes from there. If they TRULY Love You, they will understand what you're saying and try their best not to do that! Give it a try and see how it goes from there. Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @MellowHoly, ALL of your Family, ALL of your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK, MY DEAR, SWEET, KIND, AWESOME AND WONDERFUL FRIEND?!

Do you live with your parents? Or do you live in your own place and are just uncomfortable when you go to visit them?
