So, in the last couple of years of my life I've been trying to find someone to be with but that is so hard. When I find someone merely okay, I somehow sabotage myself , looking for things I don't like about him and hating him for that. Or I try to stay like friends with benefits so there's no formalities and we can be together but not that close. Other thing I do is that when I feel things are getting serious, I run out of it.
I don't know what's wrong with me. Any help will be welcome

Thank you for posting this concern. I'm not a mental health professional. So I can only offer my personal opinion. What you describe suggests two things to me.
