I don't know the last time I've felt such hurt in my heart...deep hurt.

It does hurt when those you love attack, whether in illness or not, when they want a focus for their stuff and focus it in one out of nowhere attack with sucker punches and "hitting below the belt" one right after the other, and leaving no time to recover from the first before the second is thrown.

Yeah, I'm giving and forgiving. Yep, my love is unconditional in my care and understanding. But, dangit, I can hurt and break too!

It just hurts so much to try to defend yourself with that which isn't even reality or even something that can be addressed.

My heart is breaking right now, and though it will heal, I'll never forget this and that hurts even more.

Our illusions sometimes Kimmy don't serve us well. We wish like children, when we should be seeing as people. What hurt he is doing you is wrong, but if you really look, this should be of no big surprise. We don't hurt the ones we love even if our circumstances must change.

From what I have read by you, you are a butterfly, one yes who hurts, but one with wings...

Open them to the wind...this too shall pass...

I'm licking my wounds...like the faithful old dog who got smacked away for doing nothing different...maintaining a faithfulness that's appreciated most of the time. Then the owner's mood/upset reaches down and smacks her away.

It's confusing, hurtful and not understood.

But, as you point out, healing still takes place and if we're blessed, a learning does as well.

You're so right. Why can family hurt us more than any other? I think it's because our care is so intense, it's almost a desperate type of care? Ahh, and when it hurts, it's hurts like no other.

A few weeks ago I suffered the worst "hurt" I have ever felt in my life. Felt the world was crushing my chest. Felt my life was over. My friends saved me and carried me through it...most of it. Of course time heals all wounds. Someone told me that it's ok to hit rock bottom because it gives you something to push off of for your climb to the top. Take care....we are all one.
