Second Chances

Me and my ex have been talking about possibly getting back together. We've talked about past issues and are willing to work on those issues and just the fact that we still love each other is prompting us to want to work on things again.

I left him because I thought the grass would be greener somewhere else but now I realize that my expectations were unrealistic and I wasn't willing to communicate my feelings at the time.

He's invited me down to his place to see how things go (I'm in Pennsylvania and he's in Mississippi). I'm planning on going but I have to find a good time to go down (in between my sis coming, therapy, and doctor appts.)

I figure within a year I may be back down there again...I really liked it there...somewhere where I thought I could live the rest of my life in. That's if it goes well.

That sounds really great just remember to take things slow and talk to each other.

I can relate to your situation cause I'm going through something similar with my ex girlfriend. Only difference is that neither one of us left. She owns the house and I had nowhere to go. Any way, I wish you luck but why would you wanna leave Penna? I grew up in Philly so I'm a little biased

I love PA a lot, but Mississippi is beautiful as well....very green! I've gotta find my own niche in life...just not sure where it is...here or there...
