ok.. I got this really great boyfriend. he's like the only joy I have in my life. and I love him very much. but I have been really depressed latley. I feel like I should tell him,but I don't want him thinking its because of him. I'm getting better, and i'm working on it. ya'll really help, and doing web searching for things help too. I'm afraid that he doesn't love me anymore, but he's afraid to tell me and break my heart.
I know he says he loves me,but i'm not sure.
Maybe its just my depression, maybe not.
But does anyone know what I should do?
To like get things back to the way they were,
we'd talk non-stop and always have something to talk about.
should like as soon as we start talking I just say "i love you" do something a bit diffrent??? thanks

Angel, I know you say you don't want you boyfriend to think your depression is because of him, but if you are as close as you say, then chances are he has noticed something is wrong with you, and since you are not talking to him about it, the natural reaction would be for him to think that your problem is with him. I know it sounds exactly the opposite of what you might expect, but you are much better off telling him about your problems and assuring him that they are not due to him than you are keeping quiet and letting him guess what the problem is.

Depression does make you see things all messed up, so your feeling that he no longer loves you could easily be due to the depression. So for now, I would just try telling him the truth about your depression...any conversations about whether he loves you can wait until you are feeling a bit better.

*hugs*
mj

Ok,thank you! Yeah,I think he has noticed a little.
I mean,a couple times he has asked if I was sad about something..but I kinda skipped around his question.
I probably shouldn't do that then. Yeah,I guess your right.
I'll try and tell him next time I get to talk to him. Thanks
