D/s relationship Too many abreviations I think. I don't have a clue what you're asking either.

Hi blueroses,

Welcome to PC. Hope you find our community supportive! I personally dont' know of anyone involved in these types of relationships. Perhaps someone who does will respond. Looking forward to seeing you around on the boards.

D/s relationship

D/s and s/m are relationships that involve a special sort of ppl. D/s stands for Domination/Submission and s/m are sado/masochist. I personally am not in a relationship like that but I know several ppl who are. If you have any questions please feel free to lemme know.

Those types of relationships aren't necessarily easy, and they take a lot of trust and effort to make them work.

Then again, so do regular vanilla relationships, right?

At the same time, they can be very rewarding for the right couple... or triple, or quadruple...

(For the uninitiated: I'm referring to poly, or polyamory, which is the full term. It's often described as consensual, ethical, responsible non-monogamy).

You've written in your profile, blue roses, that you suffer from depression, have been hospitalized, and are currently not in therapy. That can complicate a relationship of any flavor, vanilla or otherwise. But something that makes you happy and fulfilled may be worth exploring. Are you currently in a D/s, poly or s&m relationship, or is it something that you're considering because it interests you?
