I am sending signals to a girl that I still want to be friends with her and love her then later say I hate her and such.

I do love her. I do not want to be her friend. she has caused me too much pain to remain her friend.

It is hard to cut off the relationship.

I have been going through this with my now ex-girlfriend for years. I let her know, in suttle ways that she understood, but never really came out and said what was on my mind. I broke up with her and took her back and then the opposite would happen and it continued on for a few years. I recently cut it off with her for good, and she obliged happily because she didn't want to talk to me ever again either. I just want to say this one important thing...... Don't keep sending her the opposite of how you actually feel. If you are mad at her or something she has done to you or whatever flat out tell her and if it breaks everythig let it happen then, and not years in the future. And don't be a doormat.
