The more I try not to get hurt by all my prepetrators of my past, the more I try to just feel 'human..'

The more I try to go on gracefully, peacefully..

I just cannot without God....I need to know he created me in His image, need to know his peace..

The world is just too big and scary sometimes..

I need to feel that love of all loves; maybe even if I felt it with family I would still need to feel God's deep love for little ole me..

God does love you. He loves the whole world.

God's love I believe is different than familial love. In Greek and Hebrew languages, there is more than one type of love. If we look for God's love to be like what we already knew (or didn't get but crave) then we might miss God's love and blessings.

Ask Him to make His Love real to You, to make it so you realize it's His love, and not of this world!

(((((Junerain))))) Not sure a family would make anydiffernce, maybe just give a very imperfect frame of reference. I believe strongly that you are loved purely, wholey and totally by God. You are God's creation, down to the cells on the bottoms of your feet. Nothing on this planet could ever rob you of that love, its only to be completed by your return love... and your love for youself. HUgs dear.

Imagine a love that comes to you without any judgment whatsoever; you do not have to do anything to qualify for it, you have already earned it and it is yours; all you have to do is walk up to the table and take it.

Imagine a love that is sitting on your nightstand day and night, in a beautiful gold filigree egg, you can see a tiny slit of light coming from it along the opening around the middle and the hinge in the back. When you are lying in your bed, feeling alone, abandoned, worthless, less than human, unloved, misunderstood, guilty, evil, unworthy of love, or whatever is making it hard for you to love yourself and/or go to sleep, know that you can reach over and open up the gold filigree egg and the beautiful shining light of perfect love will envelope you and take away all of those negative bogus feelings and wrap itself around you and you will feel perfect true love and know that you are valuable and perfect and loved in perfection.

Imagine the gold filigree egg has within it a beautiful white satin cloth. The cloth has a tiny corner and if you pull on the corner, out comes a beautiful, flowing fully winged angel. She smiles at you and tells you that she is your guardian angel and she has been with you all your life but has never met you until now because the time has never been right. There is a saying, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." She is YOURS! Just for you! All of us have one. They all don't come in filligree eggs but we can be in contact with them. I am in that process right now. She can help guide you into the life you want and you can begin by meditation and asking her advice about things. You also have others helping you, too. You only need to pray, meditate, and listen to the answers.

Junerain, what I wrote above simply has to do with a way that I am learning to access God and His love at this time. I think that the first time it ever truly came to me was back when I was in AA when someone said to me something that was very powerful and means a lot to many people.

There are a lot of people who are raised to believe that God is strict, vengeful, judgmental, all that "hellfire and damnation" stuff. I was taught something similar. What I was told was to take the "Daddy face" off of God. In other words, God is not like our fathers. He is not the strict, judgmental, vengeful, critical, damning, harsh, and sometimes cruel being that our other fathers were. We have to learn and believe that everything that we want and need from a loving father, that is what God is. And He has always been here for us. Also, as Sky aluded to, He is so much more than we can imagine.

The example I gave in the paragraph above was something very simple, because that's an adventure I'm going through at the moment. Angels don't always show up in filigree eggs. That was for effect! But they are real and are here. And so are spirit guides. And Archangels. These other-worldly entities are here to help us live better in this world. They help God help us.

What does all of this have to do with you, Junerain? It means that you have lots of help out there. You have already made up your mind that you want to change. That's the important part. Simply know that you have all kinds of helpers out there, ready to give you a hand. The kind of guy you seek is out there.
