It's not unbelievable. The hypnotic induction for Past Lives Regression involves having the subject recall early childhood memories, and from there "in utero" memories, and from there, jumping to a previous life.

If you really relax and concentrate, you may be able to do this at will. It's quite an experience 😎

I think it would be best if we did not bash God and His existence under the guise of "spiritual support" okay? It isn't support for anyone in that respect, and may be harmful emotionally to those members here who need to believe in God and come here for that type of support.

Support means positive... if someone doesn't have something positive to say, then don't say anything. Maybe just promote your own knowledge, positive experiences and leave the negatives and suppositions and assumptions to another forum.

lately, I've been having less faith in God and humanity itself. If we believe in heaven we do not question what heaven is we just accept it. Being a slave the rest of your life to giant man with a beard? Idk who this God creature might be and why he would allow all these horrible things to happen in this life.
We are energy and evolving. Our body leaves us but our mind and soul live on forever.

As for fear of death, I haven't been thinking about it lately. Only happens really at times when there are close deaths friends/family.
I think I need some spiritual guidance. Idk

Are you talking about St Nicholas? Though I don't know of any slaves for him, nor for a loving God for that matter.

The God I know has nothing to do with fear, but of love.
If one does not have a belief in the after-physical-life, then fear should not be an option... and if one does believe in eternal energy, then IMO a choice does need to be made... still, fear is an option?

Be well.

I do believe in 1 God. All we can do is try and achieve happiness and love. It just scares me, knowing that one day I will lose the family I am closest to someday.

Question is, how do you overcome fear of death?
I understand where you're coming from...I am going through the same feeling. Are you in therapy? Just curious due to a situation that came up with my T and me at our last session. I spent the previous week crying and in panic mode, but with no understanding of what was going on. When my T and I met last week, all I could say was that I thought that I didn't have much time left. At the center of that fear was the feeling that I had no faith to hang on to which would soothe my confusion about what happens after death. I'm quite spiritual, but have not aligned myself to any one religion. I've been listening to an audio book by Irvin D. Yalom (Jewish), Creatures of a Day. Dr. Yalom is a therapist and the book focuses on his therapy with people who are dying. It's been helpful, but not totally what I need.

I think, ultimately, you will have to find your own beliefs about what happens at the end of life. It can be a tortuous journey if you've not been steeped in one specific religion or belief system. I do empathize with what you are going through right now. I would caution, however, that your focus on the "afterlife" not exclude the life we were meant to live now. Perhaps by being in the present as much as possible will bring you the answers you seek for what happens when you die.

thank you, my therapist of about 2 years recenlty left the practice, I saw a new guy twice which I got nothing out of, and he was booked for like 2months every time, so I just stopped going, because I got absolutely nothing out of it. Havent gone in like 4 months. Anyways, I dont think hed be able to help in any way. My old one, yes I could talk about those things.
I think I have to dig deep and find the answers myself. I do agree, the present is all we have, therefore we should not take it for granted. Most people tend to overthink about the past and future forgetting about the moment they are in.
