i know it is said that it's not good to ask for prayers for yourself ,but i'm being selfish. prayers/thoughts for myself really stuck in a most awful dark place which is hanging round for far too long thanks

Who says it isn't good to ask for prayers for yourself? It is perfectly fine to ask for help, and that is one of the best ways to ask for help that I can think of! Sending prayers that you find your way out of the dark place. Asking for prayers is a step towards the light.

Jeff,
I pray the our father in Heaven shines down thru the darkness and allows you to see his light ... I find myself always going back to a song by Casting Crowns called Praise You In This Storm ... This song has away of putting things into perspective for me... Even though we are hurting and suffereing there is a mercifull God and the things we want sometimes it takes the right time to acheive them So my brother in arms I pray for you today that Our Father Breaks the chains of bondage on you of despair and depression and not allow those bad thought to enter your precious soul Amen Tymber |
