Requesting Prayers

Requesting prayers for my Sister In Law. She was life flighted to A Pensacola Hospital unresponsive Sunday night. She stopped breathing. My brother, and there Son can't get there bc they don't have transportation, and can't find out anything bc in Florida you have to have a code word to find out about a patient, and She is unresponsive, so she can't give a code word. I can't go down there bc yesterday I had to pay my land taxes, a vet bill, my pawn bill from last month, and had a flat tire twice yesterday that I had to get fixed, so I don't have the funds to go see about Her. Her name is Connie, and is about my age. Thank you all!!!

Thank you Buffy, it is hard, not being able to go, or do anything, when a person has had all the training, and experience I have. Specially when it is someone that I have known about 30 years.

Sorry that your sister is suffering. Is it possible the hospital is non-willing to give out medical information because they feel she will soon recover, where she can speak for herself. I would be worried for her also. I send my love and prayers to you both. Continue to call and check in, and hopefully someone will make an authorized decision to speak about her condition out of concern for her and her well being.

Unfortunately this last summer when we seen her, she was very bad then. In my experience, when people are that bad, they don't recover. My older sister is trying to keep in touch with my other brother, and will let me know what she can, when she can. My Sister in Law when we seen her, She was about maybe 80 pounds, just skin, and bone, and I got the impression that She gave up.

I will, I don't expect She will pull through, and if she don't, I don't know my brother's plans. They were the ones that just went through Michael, in Panama City Beach Florida. And I don't think ether of them have life ins. So all I can do at this point is wait and see. If She don't make it, I would hope they would at least call and let Her Son, and my brother know, but the rules in Florida, like Georgia are very strict.

I am praying for peace for you and healing restoration for your sister.

My Big Sis just called. She told me the Hospital called in the family. My Big Sis is going to call my youngest Sis's H to get them to take my brother, and Nephew to go see Connie. I can't afford to go, so my Big Sis will keep me informed, and let everyone know that I wish I could be there with them all, and be able to say my good buys. I am sitting here wishing I hadn't payed my taxes, and trying to keep from crying. The 2 men in my home don't understand, and would tell me all kind of reasons why I shouldn't get upset, so I am holding it back so far. But my heart hurts bc I always felt for Connie. I felt for Her, for having to be my brother's wife. I know She has had a bad life bc of that.

Katydid--I will pray for you and Connie. Grief and death sucks--it really does. If the men in your home don't understand then all you can do is cry and pray. Much of grief is a very individual thing--it can make you feel very alone. We are all here for you at PC!

Thank You All for your prayers. My Sister In Law passed about 12:30 this afternoon. My pain at the moment is great. Connie passed without anyone there with Her, and I am having a very hard time with that.
