Thank you, Froggie. Prayers for my hubby, please!

Both boys checked in within minutes of each other. The oldest called to say that they had "the changing of the guard". Apparently, the youngest didn't get there until an hour and a half after the oldest did. The oldest left about 15 minutes before they came in to take blood from hubby. Then the youngest called to tell me "big brother" had been there and that they had just taken the blood from his dad.

So far, everything has come back normal but the Dr is concerned about the fact that Jerry was having shortness of breath at work. They'll be keeping him overnight. I'm so glad, because if they hadn't, I would have camped out next to Dad to make sure he didn't have any discomfort during the night.

The fact that both boys showed up to be with Dad sure gave me a warm feeling all over. Youngest is going to call when he leaves the hospital.

Will let you know more later on today.

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts and prayers. Prayers for my hubby, please!

Dear SeptemberMorn,

Blessings and prayers to you and your family. I don't know how I would react if the same were to happen to my husband. I believe that although you were petrifed, you showed a whole lot of courage and strength. I don't know I could do the same.

I am so happy for you that you have 2 boys local to you to help you through this ordeal. They sound to be a great comfort and am happy that you didn't have to go through this alone.

I will continue to keep Jerry, you, and your sons in my thoughts and prayes.

In Love and Light,
Peacemaker

Thank you so much for your encouraging words, Peacemaker. Prayers for my hubby, please!

Since this whole thing started with DH, I've been able to keep my wits about me until the emergency is over. If it was me, I wouldn't hesitate to call 911 and that's what I did. Don't believe in "wait and see" when it could be life threatening.

Yes, my boys... or should I say "men" are a great confort to me. They are to their dad, too. The oldest has a different father (erm... sperm donor) but it made hubby's night when he heard his voice say "I'm here to see my dad." Hubby is still groovin' over that. Prayers for my hubby, please!

As for "Dad's" condition, every test they've taken has come back good. No sign of a heart attack, thank God and thank all of you who have prayed for him.

Peacemaker, I think if you were in the same shoes as I was, you'd do the very same thing. There is strength in your words so I know you would act out of that strength given the right situation. Prayers for my hubby, please!

September Morn,

Getting them to the hospital quickly is the best thing you can do. My husband avoided having a heart attack back in 2000, b/c I "threw" him in our vehicle and got him to the ER in about 5 - 7 minutes. They gave him medication that prevented a heart attack. He had some kind of clot, which they later took care of in surgery, after they transferred him to another hospital.

(((((((September Morn)))))))

They can get on our last nerve everyday, but we still love them mightily.

With lots of prayers and hugs,

EJ Prayers for my hubby, please!

Yep! We do love them "mightily"!! Sometimes, mine makes me wonder why but fact is, I always have and I always will. Prayers for my hubby, please! This man just refuses to be "washed right out of my hair." I've quit trying! LOL

Jerry is home and he seems to be fine. It wasn't a heart attack, but no one told him what the shortness of breath was. We're going to follow up with his cardiologist on Monday.

Once again, you my friends, have helped carry me through a difficult evening. May I never have to find out what it would be like without all of you!
