I choose to be "me" and choose not to let others hurt me for just that.

<font color="darkblue">Choosing a good choice.

Consider the eagle.

How majestic the eagle when flying high above.
How strong and wise it seems.

There comes a time
called middle age
when the eagle has a crisis.
His beak and claws will
cover over, and crust
and is quite painful in
the process

It's up to his companion
to "convince" him to fly high
to the cliff, to the rocks above
that no predators can find him
and allow her to
slowly peck away at the crusting
to remove it, though also painful
or the eagle will die
from starvation.

It's his choice.
Not much of a choice, but still.

I choose to make a good choice.

Choosing allowing.

There are many events in one's life
that are out of one's control.
It's important to recognize when
it comes to that point.
The peaceful person has found
a way to understand
such a situation,
and allow it, without
experiencing angst,
or harboring frustration.

I choose allowing.

Choosing self acceptance

Self-acceptance makes us compassionate,
forgiving and nonjudgmental of others.

Realizing that we don't have
to change others,
be their watchdog
and set them straight
so they are transparent
to all who view...
is a liberating,
good step towards
self-acceptance.

It will cause others to also
be more accepting of us too.

I choose self-acceptance.

God gave us two ears and one mouth, to be used in that proportion. I choose to use my ears (or eyes).

I think that warrants changing the old adage, because to consider choosing to use your eye and ears, that makes the ratio much larger... speaking 1x for every 5x we think to. Choosing That's a great choice!

Choosing to value sleep.

God causes us to sleep
for good reasons.
It replenishes the muscles
and refreshes our memories.
We need to honor His wisdom
and develop a sleep schedule,
sleep routine, and good habits
so we may have quality sleep
and perform better in daytime.

I choose to value sleep.

Choosing good thoughts.

The day to day of life
can become mundane.
Many of us have
mini-upsets and some of us
have major upsets
that interrupt our boring lives.

It's important to not focus
on the bad things nor
the hard things nor
the dark things that happen.

God tells us to focus on
whatsoever is good,
and honest,
and pure.
I think to do that when
those upsets come will
be a better choice.
I choose to think on good things.

Not everyone believes in God.
Some of those who do, also limit
their god's abilities.
The God I believe in is
all knowing
all powerful
all present (everywhere).
It gives me great comfort
to believe He is this Way.
a quo hi yu. I believe.

I choose to believe.

Today I choose understanding.

I choose to understand that even if my intent is good, feelings may be hurt.
I choose to understand that my love for someone may not always be acknowledged as such.
I choose to understand that sometimes pride can get in the way of acceptance.
