I posted about the accident that was just in front of my house on Thursday evening under General...don't want to duplicate the details........but the 2 girls (LouAnne & Brielle) who were thrown out of the car & the boy (Logan)....who was the driver & a fence post went through his chest......are all in critical condition at University of Kentucky .....need prayers for their healing & being able to handle the conditions they will be left with if they do survive (especially Logan) & the families need prayers to handle what they are going through. Brielle & her family live about 2 miles down on the same road I live on.

Also as I posted in the other post, there is a LouAnne's dog that was also thrown from the car....I got him & took him to the vet. & a picking him up today & caring for him until she is able to take care of him again......even little dogs need prayers in my dog loving world.

Thank you,
Debbie

I honestly know that God was directing me all the way on this......as I wasn't even planning on being home that night....only a few things changed.......they there are many times here where I don't even pay attention to sounds that are different or I would spend my whole life checking on things here......I could feel God directing me all the way through hearing the sound to putting on shoes that I could walk around a pasture in, to making sure I had my cell phone in my hand.......as I remember, there was not even a thought that there was an accident I would be walking out to........then the most huge miracle of all was getting my phone call out without having to walk up to the top of the hill.....phone reception at the location of the accident never happens.......none of these things were any part of my control at all.

Also when Roscoe just jumped into the truck so we didn't have to continue to chase him all over the place......all these things were I can see were not under human control or direction. My prayers when I first arrived at the accident that no one would die when I had no idea what had even happened at the time. I can see God's hand in all of it. It is sad when these things happen to young people......but when they learn from the situation & good comes from bad......God's hand is at work to make good come from the bad.

I know that all the prayer requests are being heard & being answered.....& knowing how much strength these young people are going to need just for the physical therapy part of their recovery once they have healed will be an unending need for God's strength. They know how much they have been blessed with their lives.....as the girl said when I talked with her to let her know that Roscoe was well & at my house after his stay at the doggie hospital......she knows it is a miracle that they all lived through being thrown so far out of the car & live through it......it was such a wonderful feeling to hear the joy in her voice hearing that Roscoe is alive & being taken care of for her.

I know that if I were in a similar situation I would pray that someone would do for me what I have been guided to do here.
Debbie

Have some news on how everyone is doing......the boy had some major head injuries on top of the fence post through his chest.....they were so concerned about that, they didn't realize how bad the head injuries were........they had to do surgery to release the pressure from the blood clots & he was in a coma the last time I heard.

The girl who owns Roscoe......has spinal injuries & will need rehab for 3 months before she will be allowed to walk again.....rough time for her & for Roscoe....he misses her so much....I need to take him to see her in the hospital. Her family life is so messed up that she is very alone & that is tough.

The other girl was coming home from the hospital this weekend....I spent several hours on the phone talking to her Mom the other night.....they live several miles down the same road I live on.......rough way to meet your neighbors, but they are really wonderful....the Mother is a nurse at the University of KY.....so she was working in the hospital where her daughter was being treated.....she just stayed there since the accident....Thursday was the first day she had come home since the accident.

Still praying for the boy & for the girl whose life is so changed with not being free to just live without having to go through rehab just to function again.

Thank you all so much for your support & words that encourage me so much.......Sometimes the feeling of being filled with the Spirit gets hidden in everything that is going on....& it takes a lot of focus on the Word to stay there with everything that seems to be going on at one time........your prayers for my strength are so appreciated also.......because when so many things start piling on top of each other........it is difficult to stay focused & make the time it takes to keep that focus.

Thank you all very much for the prayers for the kids & for my strength to keep going with more things that are taking up my time & energy.......when even more than at any other time, I need to focus on that guidence I need constantly.

I am blessed by having both of you in my life as your support & encouragement & the prayers & sharing we have together is what helps me focus on where I get the strength to stay on the path.

Prayers are still needed for all,
Debbie

I continue to pray for you and everyone else involved in this terrible accident.

How nice of you to continue to care for Roscoe, what a lucky dog. prayer request I feel bad for the girl with the mixed up home life, what a long struggle she faces. It is so nice that you can bring Roscoe up to see her, animals can be wonderful healers...

Special prayers for the young man in the coma. A TBI can be a long difficult road to recovery, and I hope his family is there and willing to work with him as he works to get better.

It is wonderful when you are put in the right place, at just the right time. Yes, the spirit moves, but people choose to get involved. I thank God that you made the choice to get involved, and I have no doubt that you made a real difference in those children's lives. May you continue to make a difference...

Lead by example and you will leave a lasting message...

Thank you for your example prayer request
