Let's pray for the safety of the people in Florida, including Sky, Echoes, WantstoFly, and other PC members in Florida, with the approaching hurricane, which is due to hit on Tuesday.

((((EJ))) Thank you for thinking of all of us here.
Weather is already too bad to drive much. The wind and rain is bad enough, but it's the tornadoes that will do (are doing) the damage. Won't necessarily be out of the woods until Wednesday here. But others up the State will be getting full hurricane winds later ![]() (((ECHOES))) (((WANTSTOFLY)))

![]() We've already experienced funnel clouds and at least one tornado... and that's just from the squall lines ![]() It will be more of a water issue rather than wind unless it continues to strengthen...which is possible of course. At least it's still daytime. The worst (for me?) will be tonight, at night. The County called about shelter, and I turned them down. Until it reaches a Cat 3, I'm safer at home (even though alone.) Caleb is doing good at going outside between the squall lines and in the light rain. He had cabin fever a bit and ran in figure 8s for about 10 minutes. I was happy he could run off some of his pent up energy. Hope the others check in soon, though they're probably busy preparing. My PTSD, having been disabled during a thundestorm, causes me to prepare extra early and so I'm just waiting. Just? ![]() ![]()

(((EJ))) (((not))) (((muffy))) (((katheryn))) (((fuzzy))) Your prayers have helped my situation immensely. Now let's get the others through the rest of the storm. (Keeping it from becoming a hurricane would be a good step.

Bee,
Are the forecasters saying the storm will be moving up by you? Do you still need the rain? |

Gosh, the amount of rain that is expected from that storm is phenomenal and it's supposed to be turning back to landfall I think?
(((((((((( Sky )))))))) I hope you are safe and stay as dry as you can! And of course anyone else in the waterlogged areas!! ![]() sabby |

South Florida still receives banding but FAY has moved up across the State and is sitting --yes sitting-- just off the coast near Jacksonville. It appears to be redeveloping and they expect it to go WEST back across the State and into the Gulf. Georgia and Mississippi and Louisiana will benefit ? from the rain too then?
She just won't go away. It would be good if she doesn't spawn the tornadoes like she has been, and brings rain to the drought stricken areas. (I was personally thinking it could help in Texas ![]() ![]()

FAY has just begun to move off the coast of FL, turning WEST at 5 mph. She has caused major flooding in the upper part of the State, and now will move back across FL for the 3rd pass.
![]() I don't know if any members are in the upper part of FL. Would like to know about those in GA and MS who will probably get wind and rain from FAY soon now.
