Knowing my children are happy and healthy.
Hearing my dad laugh over something ridiculous... he finds humor in some of the weirdest things. lol
Listening to the rain.
Being able to get things done.
Talking to my God and knowing He listens.
Getting phone calls from friends and laughing until my side hurts. (especially Bethy!!)
Good home cooked meals
Waking up each day and being thankful that I was given another day to live.
Knowing my mother has stopped drinking for good.
Hazelnut cream candles.

Getting funny text messages.
Getting a pedicure.
Fresh air and plenty of food.

Listening to Christmas carols
Lighting Christmas candles and having all those sweet smells in the house.
The smile on my face when I look at my snowmen.
Just knowing that hubby is around in the house when he is off for the weekend.
Watching Heidi with hubby .. she has to be wherever he is when he is home.
Having those deep , soul searching talks with hubby.
The feeling that nothing else matters as long as hubby is by my side.
Feeling the same warm fuzzies I used to get around him as when I was younger and just falling in love.
The calmness and security I feel when we hold hands or cuddle.
The sense of being in a place where life is good.

my bliss is the small realization that all is fine now
that i can go on
that the past hurt but is over
my story continues
not my book my story
it is about a tiny toad
the toad trips but gets up, looks around, and just has amoment
a moment happens all the time
even while we sleep
our dreams they take us into the next day...and the next day...and the next day...
i could name all the days of the week here
all the months of the year
all the rooms in my house
i did not used to spean any tyime at my own house
just out there, out like a lion
the lion getsd along fine with the toad
the toad is just a small thing
he is cute yet ugly at the same time
it is ok to be ugly
this is my favorite thing
not the toad
not the book
not the story
not even the past or the moment, of the opast
my favorite thing,
is me

Feeling you belong somewhere
Giving to others
Knowing what you mean to others and that you've made a difference in their lives in some way.
Being a part of something so big, it changes your life
Feeling loved
Knowing you do matter to people in the truest of ways
Knowing you have the support of others so you can do what you need to do to make your life better.
Knowing that you will never be forgotten, and you'll always have a place in my

i heard once, maybe here, that bliss is where you find it.. well, seems i found some here, in you, in seeing that one has a strength, an ability, a determination, and a mind of emotion to share, care, and offer others... finding bliss will help us with the muck and sharing bliss helps others with the muck.. i dont know all your personal situations Sunshine, but thanks for sharing your bliss with us

Wow, been over 2 yrs since this thread has been posted to. Guess I've lost sight of those blissful things in my life for awhile. Life was pretty difficult and guess I was blinded by the depression and just emptiness of the losses I had gone thru. But I'm back.. and have began to feel many blissful things.

changes in my life
dreams coming true
Joy
my dog Heidi continues in her 16th year of life to make me smile and amuse me with the funny things she does.
looking forward to traveling a bit this summer
And happy to finally be getting Christmas things down! lol
