Bliss? That's a pretty strong emotion in my book. Been here sitting and thinking and sorting emotions out for myself. This is what I've come up with:

BLISS:

1) Those momentary flashed when I become aware of God's infinite love for me
2) Laying in my husband's arms after we've made love
3) Holding my babies for the very first time and the first time I nursed them

JOY

1) Being around my grandkids
2) Having helped my husband make a difficult decission and we're both in agreement
3) Getting a hug and a kiss from the two sons who live close
4) When my hubby acts considerate toward me

HAPPY

1) When my grandkids hug, kiss and tell me they love me
2) When the 14 yr old grandson and the 9 yr old granddaughter play fight for my lap
3) When my Aspergers grandson stands on the foot rest of my wheelchair and makes up fairy tales about him and me
4) When my 5 yr old grandson thinks he has to sweet talk to me for me to let him spend the night and he gives me delicious hugs after every two words or so Finding your Bliss... He's my personal love bug. Finding your Bliss...
5) Seeing a "rescued" plant respond to my care
6} Watching the bulbs and/or starts of my Hawaiian plants develop
7) Having a larger than expected harvest of anything that I've planted and invested time in
8) Watching the fish in my pond waiting for me to feed them
9) Watching the tadpoles develop into frogs and then counting the baby frogs sitting on the lily pads
10) Listening to my cat purr as he wraps himself around my head at night.
11) Playing with my dog and seeing her goofy antics
12) Watching hubby and the dog playing

And the list goes on... Finding your Bliss...

I'm sorry I don't have anything to add at this time, I have been really depressed and stressed. I promised I will add something soon when I feel better!

Hmmm...o.k. Often for me it's very, very simple. I was just sitting here doing some artwork...in the moment...in the zone...and Billie Holliday comes on the muzak singing "Embraceable You". My spirit soars!
That's "bliss"!
Blessings to yours also! May it "find" you!

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Dee}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Turn on some good, upbeat music! I had to do that a bit ago and I'm still "boogi-ing down" from it. LOL

You like the Oldies from the 50's? The beat is great and the words aren't so harsh as some of today's music. Stay away from C&W. It's usually about someone's "unclimbable mountain." EEWW! Boogy down! Yeah!

Hearing my girls in the other room laughing and joking and fooling around.......getting along *sigh* They have this love/hate relationship and most times it seems like the hate flies more than the love...so when the love flies...it is definitely bliss!

Hearing the innocent laughter of children.
Hearing my favorite song and dancing to it.
The smell of fresh flowers.
That feeling that my higher power is listening to me.
Cornbread dressing and chicken.

Well, here are a few things......

Those moments when I just happen to turn and catch my husband looking at me and I can see the love in his eyes. (No need for words)

Times when I will have someone on my mind and out of the blue the phone rings and it's them on the other line. (No such thing as coinsidence)

When my son is so lovingly attentive and affectionate towards someone when he sees they are sad or in pain. (Makes your heart swell)

Everytime I see or feel the presence of God in my life or anyone else's. (God can touch anywhere and everywhere. Either directly or through people in our lives)

These are a few things on my list. I've really enjoyed sharing them too.

When I find peace within myself to the point I feel good about what I am doing in life.

Watching for deer behind my house.. seeing them feed and play.

Cleaning my house and having it smell fresh

Getting things accomplished so I feel free to spend time on my hobbies

Listening to my favorite music and even boogying a bit while listening lol
