it's been a good day so far. dog is happy if bored. snow just started which is so beautiful.

don't think i'm gonna get anything done today, but i feel grateful to be alive.
hopefully weather and my anxiety level will permit me to get to an AA meeting tonight.

did an exercise a woman on here suggested for feelings of guilt:
put the things i feel guilty for on slips of paper and burned them

gonna open my curtains and watch the snow.

So, my therapist is going on maternity leave in a few weeks. I just hope that whoever I get is just as good as she is if not better. I'm really going to miss my t while she's gone. There's still no word on who will be my new case manager. I'm still a little anxious about it.

Good luck! I'm on the Invega Sustenna injection and it works wonderfully for me

Doing good, talked to my doctor about coming off all meds because I'm feeling really good and don't think I need them anymore but she says that's because the meds are working that I feel this way and that it's a chronic lifelong illness.

Every time I think I should get off medication I remember what my life was like without . I don't need that craziness again. It's too scary for me. I agree with your pdoc. We're doing well finally, but it's on meds, something we need for our brains to be healthy.

I consider it a chemical problem or genetic abnormality that simply requires medication to keep in control, similar to how insulin controls blood sugar when the pancreas isn't working properly. You wouldn't expect a diabetic to try not to need meds, so mental illness is the same.

I skipped therapy this week. I don't really even know why. I just really didn't feel like going. Oh well, I'll try again next week.

Been doing so much better lately! No voices, and apparently I still have some "delusions" which I don't consider delusions, but in consensus reality apparently they are. Anyway, they aren't interfering with my life, so that's good.

I met my new case manager today...well I'm not sure that she'll be my permanent case manager, but she was nice. I'm glad I've got someone that seems like she really wants to be there for me. I went to therapy today and so glad I did.

Had appointment with new pdoc this morning. Decided to add a small dose of Depakote in addition to my other meds to help with hyperness and agitation experienced in the afternoon/evening. I hope this works.

Stopping by dad's for lunch today. He says he's too tired to take the door -to-door shuttle to the Senior Center for lunch tomorrow and I have to work, so I can't take him. Worried he's tired.

Went down a whole size in one month from topamax (and chia seeds, which everyone is probably tired of hearing me talk about it!) so I'm very very happy with that. My husband got a surprisingly good paycheck this morning, so that was nice. My mental state is not the best. I keep doing things and then wondering what the hell I was thinking in doing that. Oh well. I just hope I'm a decent person. I try to be, but I do wonder sometimes. I've been getting hot and cold flashes for the last month or so. I'm not sure if it's my medicine or if I'm going through menapause. I'm 45.

What are going to study Bluebird?
