OK I'll play along. Just remember every single one of us has a certain brain chemistry that what one person takes and feels better from another person, same medication and dose could get ill, sick, experience side effects impacting them poorly.

Here has been my RX cocktail since February 2015:

(psych meds only)

Gabapentin, Alprazolam, Lamictal, Nortriptyline, Olanzapine, Quetipine (I know its an antipsychotic but I only take 100mg at night for severe insomnia and no other "typical prescription sleeping medications" have worked as well as ((Seroquel)). Its still a push to get 7 hours of sleep in as I have a VERY busy mind and the Alprazolam only works enough to keep me slightly on the manicy side of the mind. I take 6mg a day in 3x daily divided doses, it works very well... well OK I sleep better I notice if I've smoked pot in the evening, not a pusher, nor a drug or alcohol addict. I don't live to get loaded. Just saying more amazing things about this plant are being discovered every day and it has never "directly" caused a death like alcohol can directly be the cause of death.

Again, this cocktail keeps me stable. My psych doctor pulled me cold turkey off the anti-convulsant "gabapentin" and 10 days later I was a trembling mess with migranes and withdrawal symptoms. I immediately called my nurse at the office and that morning got me a refill on it and rode my bike to go get it. Lesson? "You don't fix what ain't broken". I was and (now) am fairly mentally and physically stable. I also ride my bike 30 minutes a day 5 days a week and then some trips into town that can go from 70-90 minutes round trip from my apartment to the next one or two towns up by riding on the state route that follows interstate I-81 north to Winchester, Virginia for my doctor appointments.

Soo... work with your doctor, have a journal to record your mood and feeling every day and what "each" med you take is doing (or not doing) for you.

Much Peace, dmhobbit
