I see monsters and demons every time I close my eyes they frighten me every time, they are really ugly creatures and I have no idea why I see them, I wish I could understand why I see them, sumtimes I even picture the what it would be like if demons walked the earth, I picture the world we live as a firey hell on earth and this scares me cause its what I want deep down inside, WHATS WRONG WITH ME.

Sometimes, when I am awake for many many hours and really need sleep, when I do finally lay down and close my eyes I have experienced unpleasant images behind my eyes. I say that for me is a sign I really need sleep. I hope that you are able to get help for the disturbing image's that cause you distress. Best wishes--

psyclox, your not alone. i often feel like i want the sky to turn blood red and the land to turn dark and for me to be the last person walking around on the planet and i would actually feel at peace. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia a little over a year ago, though my doc thinks i've had it all my life. I have been hearing voices, seeing things, etc. since as far back as i can remember, since the age of three. The voices i hear are evil and i also see lots of monsters and demons when i close my eyes or am in the dark, yet for me, it is a comfort. They use to scare me, but at the same time they were comforting. Now im not even scared anymore of the things i see and hear and feel and believe. For me, it;s just completly normal and comforting to be able to experience such things that almost everyone else cannot. And it';s comforting to be so disconnected from everyone else.

Hi. I have suffered from auditory hallucinations all of my life. also...sleep paralysis. Not pleasant. "Abilify" seems to help me out some. Not entirely tho! Good luck.
