That's one of the mysteries. It seems unpredictable what will help whom.

i know not enough sleep people can go into a psychosis. many times. but what about too much sleep?

Sleep needs vary. It depends on what's normal for you. But if you don't really have a 'normal' then I'd say, hmmm, over 9 hours? When my son came out of the hospital on 35 mg of Zyprexa, he was sleeping like 12 to 14 hours per day. His pdoc said 8 or 9 hours was good. Anything higher meant his dose was too high.

Lord, I was just talking to a coworker, and the word 'neato' came out of my mouth! Where did that come from? 1972? Does anyone say 'neato' anymore? Did anyone over the age of 12 ever say 'neato'?

Anyway I guess this is a sign I'm in a much better mood than I have been the last 2 or 3 weeks. A couple of days ago nothing seemed neato.

Cool. So, maybe 'neato' is coming back in style, and I'm ahead of the curve. Groovy. Keen, even.

No, but it's best not to sleep your life away. Also, it's not good to have the dose to high for your needs.

just thought i'd chime in to say i've also been known to say neato, golly, and, to the great amusement of my wife, oh my!
but i'm certainly not anyone's standard of cool. in fact, my saying them probably makes these words less cool, if that's even possible.
also everyone should go to the zoo. i love visiting the zoo. anytime i go to any new place, i want to go to the zoo nearest there. oh my, they are super neato.

Zoos give me the creeps. I can feel the animals growing . . . I don't know what the right word is, resigned to their fate perhaps? . . . and I feel enclosed myself.

I am very angry today. I am sick of random interruptions to my life just because the Olympics are on. LONDON IS BLOODY EMPTY. I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT EMPTIER!!! So why are they still using it as an excuse to randomly shut roads/trains/busses/schools/workplaces?

well he just put me on this yesterday.

Then give it some time to see if you adjust.

unless something comes up on the background check i've forgotten/didn't know about - i'm hired. not at the weirdo place, at a different place. i liked the boss at the interview. plus, i can get the bus there whenever i can't drive. so i think it will be good. i hope so anyways. fingers crossed.

i took up smoking again.

The solution isn't to quit the meds. The solution is to begin lowering the dose.

Smoking helps clear the anti-psychotic faster. You need to talk to your pdoc about a lower dose.
