One of the keys to healing trauma is to get the victim out. They cannot get me out of it. I still hear voices, see things, smell things others cannot...I am still in the experience. How then can I heal from it. I have to live with it and walk with it and walk through it.

"The shaman is the one who is in control of his or her spirits..."

I control it and that is how I function.

Have you considered if your experiences have some kind of meaning? Eg I realised that my voices were a way for me to be punished for something I felt bad about. Knowing this makes it easier for me to deal with it.

is it that you are still physically in a traumatic situation, or that you are placed in a recurring traumatic situation by repeatedly reliving experiences?
i hope you can stay safe.
