I read all of your posts. I really do. I don't respond because I don't have anything to add to them, but you never, not once, came across as not caring. Quite the opposite.

I agree with Mr Dent... you didn't seem uncaring at all.
The thing about knowing stuff is that we all believe we know stuff. Sometimes we're wrong. I'm not saying you are... just something to keep in mind.

((KUREHA)) - I certainly don't hate you and I don't doubt you're uncaring. Although governments around the world have done bad / some secretive things, I don't feel its the case in this shooting. I understand your illness struggles with intrusive and paranoid thoughts - these are things you need to speak with your doctor about. I always try to respond to your threads and I like you. I pray you can get a break from worrying about your /others safety.

i tend to check a few of the sections, and if i feel i've something to say on a particular thread, i'll look at it

I just wanted everyone to know that I wasn't saying I didn't care.

It's just because people don't believe this - it's the same reasons TI's aren't believed - covered up.

Sorry, I don't think these beliefs about terrible conspiracies are true in most cases. There are much easier explanations for things, such as ignorance or incompetence. Finding ways of blaming someone is a childhood characteristic, which as you learn about yourself you see does not really get at the truth. It only keeps you scared.

Actually, I did not use the word "childish" -- if you will go back and see what I wrote.

And going to prison has nothing to do with what I wrote, or what anyone is suggesting. Your mind is creating scenarios out of fear, I think. Maybe not realistic ones?

I don't hate you at all. I actually understand your posts on a much different level than some other people, because of my own personal experiences, where I've been and what has happened to me.

I know for a fact that you are not lying, blaming, or being "childish" or anything like that.

I would like to see you helped and helped for real in a way that is healthy for you and comfortable for you. But I don't know what that way is or how to give advice on it. But, I hope for the best for you. After what has happened to me, I see things quite differently than other people sometimes.

Do you see the difference between saying that something comes from childhood, and that it is "childish"? You have to pay attention to differences, KUREHA. I deliberately did not use the word "childish" because I know how hurtful it can be. My mother used to tell us we were very childish -- even when we were children. I know how it hurts. I think some doctors and nurses are not to be counted on -- if only because they don't understand what can lead to psychiatric symptoms, and they jump to conclusions about people because they, like you, want to have some explanation. But some doctors and nurses are not all doctors and nurses. You have to try to distinguish between the ones who seem to have more understanding, and those who do not. Even though trying to do that can be very hard.

I actually dont' agree with this. Searching for someone to blame: "I didn't break the lamp, the dog did it!" Is a childhood behavior. To get out of trouble. That's blaming something else to get out of trouble.

Creating or getting into conspiracies is absolutely a behavior of adulthood. "The goverment/relgious group/social group is out to get us and destroy/kill/control us."

Putting together conspiracies and linking cause and effect, especially in abstract context, is an extremely complex thought process that many children do not exhibit usually. And those who do need to be brought to attention to see if they just have a good imagination (possible) or if something else may be going on (rare) depending on the situation. But children who are presenting an "they are out to get me to hurt me" type of behavior at least need some type of parental concern/attention if nothing else.

Also, coming into a board dedicated to schizphrenia and psychosis and saying someone who is having odd beliefs is just a childhood behavior is a bit insensitve. Just how I see it.

I just get frustrated by people who won't think. I suspect some of the "professionals" react the same way. Obviously I fail at doing any good by attempting to challenge beliefs even mildly. What would be an effective thing to do? Leave things alone completely? Costello is better at this sort of thing than I am!

In all fairness, I've know pachyderm for a long time now, and I've never known him (her?) to be insensitive. In fact, he has always been unfailingly polite in every post I've seen. I think of pachyderm as a gentleman. (Unless you're a lady!)

I feel quite sure pachyderm would never deliberately hurt anyone's feelings or do anything to offend anyone. I would hate to see his or anyone else's feelings hurt over a misunderstanding.
