I have a feeling that someone is stalking me, getting information from me and using it against me.

How to get out of this horrible fears?

I have anxiety about my posts here too. Because someone who I know can read this.

I don't trust anyone, even my friends. I see enemies everywhere.

Does medication help to be free from paranoia?
Tell me if you have somekind of experience.

I'm not on meds but I also reality check and I can sometimes tell and also tell myself it's not real. Learning to reality check really helps me a lot. It's hard, but possible to learn.

Thank you all for your replies

Can you tell me about what medication you are taking?
I don't take my medication everyday, just when I feel that it's unbearable and I'm taking Xanax- 1mg and Olanzapine (Zyprexa)- 5mg.

It helps me to not feel anxiety about my worries but it doesn't take away my thoughts. It takes away these horrible fears and feelings but it's hard to tell myself that it's just my imagination. I believe my delusions more then reality even when I was taken medication everyday on highest doses

I'm not suffering from schizofrenia but sometimes paranoia and delusions are killing me.

This is exactly how I feel. I have been fine sice november, no meds, and today I can feel the paranoia creeping on me. Its the scariest thing in world. I always wanna delete my profile because of the parsnoid thoughts. Like someone can use my honesty against me, its sn everyday battle. Im really debating taking my zyprexs just when needed. Trust me I know the feelings, im just trying to get through it but it doesnt seem to completely go away. I would love to hear more of your symptoms. Pm me and good luck.

I've had the same paranoid delusions for years. The meds help tremendously, but part of me still believes they are true. Good luck to you, I'm on 2 antipsychotics, risperdal and zyprexa.

I'm on Geodon and it's helped a lot with my paranoia and paranoid hallucinations (people talking about me or persecuting me). It also doesn't make me gain weight like Seroquel did.

I'm on Latuda and it helps a lot. Geodon and Abilify helped too while I was on them. I used to be afraid to use electronics, go outside, talk to people, etc. That's no longer an issue. Reminding myself what is real and what is not real also helps, as does discussing fears in therapy.

Yes I struggle with paranoia quite a lot. For me I start thinking that everybody knows I'm bipolar and they think I'm crazy. Also sometimes my thoughts become really scattered and I start making connections about things. Like I was abused in this organization and I'll start seeing connections in everyday things that have nothing to do with this organization. I even asked my case manager if she was in it the other day. Sometimes it's so bad I won't leave the house for weeks.

What has helped me is grounding techniques and risperdal. I just started risperdal again. Risperdal helps tremendously, the down side is weight gain.

Hope I helped some.

I Get paranoid someone is out to kill or hurt me sometimes so I duck down in the car while we're out and I am always jumpy in public..I look around I just feel some impending doom sometimes That I can't explain but then it goes away and It's alright. When I am home alone I check every room several times to make sure they're empty then I shut and lock every door and Hide in my room on my computer with my pocket knife at hand just in case..
