I've never had much to do with rabbits, so idk much about them as pets. I know they're good to cuddle, but will they play with you with toys?? Our cats and dogs will chase a toy or try to grab it or play tug of war with you. What do rabbits do?

I spoil Maxy rotten too, so I don't think it's such a bad thing as long as I don't spend more than I can afford. Today Max went to the groomers for a hair cut before our holiday, so he's all clean and smells lovely. Happiness is having him cuddled up next to me It's his birthday when we're on holiday so I've bought him a stuffed racoon with a squeaker in it. And I got him a dashing bow tie to attach to his collar, but I will probably put that on him on Friday too (I will post a pic for you guys!)

Rabbits like to manipulate things in their environment. Whether that be picking something up and throwing it, rolling it with their nose or nibbling at it. They don't interact with toys in the same sense as a dog or a cat would. They just want to manipulate what they see in some way, shape or form. So, they don't play with their owners. They play with the toys. I'm full of trivia like that. I think I'm going rabbit mad.

Thanks for the info. As I said, I don't know much about rabbits. An acquaintance had 2 rabbits and I got to hold one and it was really soft and fluffy, but had really long and scratchy nails. That is my sum total of rabbit knowledge! lol

Coming tomorrow: Max in his bow tie...

The iron fish project for $25 you get to send 3 iron fish to Cambodia to help alleviate iron deficiency and then you get a little pin to help spread the word---very fun I just got one

I walked to my house from the university campus tonight and it was so nice. I love how quiet college towns get in the summer.

Day trip to the beach in Michigan plus shopping at the local boutiques. Picked up some fabulous jams, sour cherry, strawberry rhubarb and something called winter compote which is a blend of apple/pear butters with lovely spices like cinnamon. Stopped on the way back for an orange creme milkshake and some curly fries....just a wonderful day

I don't know if you can see the photo or not? All I can see is a blue box with a ? in the middle, but when I click on it, it opens a tab with the photo in. Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll try again, but idk why it isn't showing as usual cos I did everything exactly the same
