Yeah I started using female avatars to clear up the confusion among forum members but it hasn't done anything for my confusion about the whole matter...

I don't do that many girly things either. I never wear make up or dress apart but I always felt 100% female. Lol the only time I dislike being female is during my periods and if I get cramps I want to destroy the entire male population lol.
Thanks for this!

It's ok to feel male but not want to identify as male, too. I believe gender is a spectrum. There are so many gender labels, from male and female to bigender (aspects of both or switching from one to another), agender (no gender identity), to genderqueer (something's up but there's no specific label) and more. And if you don't want a label, you can just be whatever you want.

I identified as bigender briefly because I felt like I was male and female at the same time, but now I'm ok with identifying as trans, because while I can still feel the female part of me, she's more of a costume I had to put on for a while. I don't think I have two personalities like DID, but I do have aspects of both male and female.

Ah that is the term I was looking for thank you. I don't feel female, but I don't feel male either.

I'm not sure what part of Canada you're in, but the weather in my part of Canada is beautiful today. I'm about to go for a walk... too bad we can't walk together.

Mine use to also be irregular until I started the birth control. Weird thing is that it started getting heavier on the pill as well. Told my doctor but never seem to be able to switch. I'm not anemic so I don't think it's a big deal.

You make good points, Sometimesp. And for sure, there are going to people for whom meds don't work at all. I can't help but wonder, tho, since med compliance is such a big problem with schizophrenia and bipolar, I wonder how much that 30% fail rate is affected by patients hiding their noncompliance? That said, it is so very encouraging to see someone who is overcoming.

I had the option of either getting the shot every 3 months or taking the pill. I ended up getting the pill.

I used to be on the pill but I kept forgetting to take it that's why I went onto the implant. Was that not an option for you?

Not sure. I asked my general practitioner about birth control and she gave me those options only. I have had issues during my pap because it hurt so I'm not sure about getting an implant.
