and btw if i forget to take my meds how the hell will i remember to take my birth control pills? ugh im IM NOT EVEN ON ANY but what IF?

so i met with other T. it went well. i told him all about my T and what went on this morning. it felt good to talk about it with someone. he said that the message i got was pretty vague and i seemed to jump to conclusions about it meaning that T is depressed. then the friend who sent me the message sent me a text and called me. she said that she worded it wrong on the message. she said it seemed more like Ts girlfriend was saying that T is just stressed and needs a break from work. she said Ts girlfriend was laughing and smiling and talking about how other Ts hair turned grey once he started working here. so now i think that T is just needing a break from work right now. i feel a lot better about it after my friend cleared things up and i got to talk to other T. and i told my recovery coach about it too. so yeah i think i just freaked out and blew things out of proportion. thanks for ur support here guys, it means a lot to me. it really does.

I'm doing ok. My peer support counselor cancelled. I will see her on Thursday. I just feel bored, but that's better than hopeless I suppose. I'm starting to think that if I stay away from the blogs and stuff exposing this organization that maybe I won't need to do trauma work. Idk, that's how I feel today anyway.

I'm OK but trying to comment less here until I'm settled---I got pretty irritated with someone on another forum and ended up blocking them so that I didn't go into the classic---but someone on the internet is wrong mode. That's not what this place is for....

Right on for not getting all upset over it. Ppl can sure be annoying sometimes though...

The xanax is category D for pregnancy---there are birth defects associated with use. You can have a baby if you switch to a less risky med but it might put your own well being at risk so you would have to consider whether you can function without xanax before you had a child----its a lot like having to cut out alcohol. Not everything is compatible with pregnancy so they don't want you to get pregnant without intentionally knowing it and making a conscious choice as to what you would like to do about meds

There are even acne meds that require females to take birth control with use because they cause so much damage to an unborn child. It's not specific to psych meds...

my sister was just asking me for advice for a friend she had that constantly said they were suicidal and depressed. and i gave her some advice like listening to them more than trying to fix the problem. stuff like that. and in return that gave me some perspective (unconsciously/not meaning to) on how when i do that to people - when i constantly complain that im suicidal or something - its never going to fix the problem i just have to fix it myself. thats what i partially learned from being on here and telling my ex-boyfriend how suicidal i was all the time.

but this place/this forum is where i constantly talk about my issues and have my blow outs because ive been on here so long and ive felt a lot of help from here. but anyway i just wanted to say she gave me some perspective on telling someone else im suicidal and if it can actually be worked on.

with that said i still plan on talkin about my issues here because this place is where i recieve a lot of listening to. or where i feel like people listen to me some. and thats what i need more than anything is someone to sit down and listen to me. sometimes i feel like no ones listening but even a "hug" from someone on here makes me feel a lot better.

Your other meds---celexa and haldol are category C---that means they cause birth defects in animals but it hasn't been seen in humans yet, category D they have clear evidence of birth defects in humans. Most psych meds are at least C----the only AP I know of that is B is latuda----that means there usually aren't effects in animals or humans but there may not have been a good study in humans

The best is A---its been tested in humans and found safe...

I just got a call from the prison my younger son is at. The guy is making plans for when he leaves there in January 2017. Seems like they're planning awfully far in advance.

His primary plan is to stay with his bio sister in Oregon. Cool. I hope that works out. Secondary plan is to move in with me. I said 'yes,' but I hope it doesn't happen. I just don't need a thief in the house.

It's so hard to know for sure, but I have little hope. He takes no responsibility for his actions. And he has a very long history of stealing, lying, destroying property, and violence. The only good thing I can say is if he moves in with me, it probably won't last long. He'll move fast, because I'm out in the country. I just don't know what the legal consequences of that would be or if I'd have to report him if he left. I don't like being in the role of tattle-tale.

Do they give them any career training? I think it would be rough---some people do straighten up but others just become more skilled. I would have some sort of written rule set or something that included a plan for him to transition out of the house by a certain point and I'm assuming he'd be on probation so if he was stealing etc you could just get him put right back in---probation is a real pain anyway its like they want you to mess up or something...

I don't know how much control they have over you on parole. Do you just have to stay out of trouble and report to your parole officer? Or do they monitor where you're living, working, etc.?

The guy said they'd have to inspect my home as some point, for example to be sure I don't have any guns. How are they going to do that? Search the place?

It sounds like he wasn't given a fair shake in life from the beginning. Too bad that he won't take responsibility. That's really unfortunate.

I've thought about getting a foster child, but I think I'll just stick to helping abused animals. My son will still be at home for awhile and I don't want to put him in any danger.

Really I don't know why I would get into a thread that used the word crazy and psychotic in a non-medical sense----I really should have used better judgement but I tend to assume most people are simply ignorant and in need of better information.

has anyone else noticed that a LOT of crazy news stories involving crimes come out of Florida???? i wonder why that is???? or am i just making up things? i read a lot of crime articles (dont know why) and most of them are from Florida
