Yeah good luck Junk!

I get nervous with appointments too... I usually rehearse conversations as I think they might go in my head. I think it's because I have trouble thinking of answers to questions, which I assume is because of the cognitive effects.

I managed a lot better being given a sheet of questions to write answers to the next week when I was doing therapy for my anxiety.

i do get nervous before sessions and appointments. but it usually goes away once im there. its like anticipatory anxiety. wondering if something will go wrong or it will be a bad session. i also try to prepare what i want to say to T. cuz i hate feeling like im just sitting there and not saying anything. i want sessions to be productive and i wanna feel good when i leave and i want T to think it was productive too.

So I ended up not sleeping again so I took a zyprexa at 7. I slept good for about 1 and 1/2 hrs until my cats woke me up. I've decided I'm gonna have to mess with my meds again. She puts me in no other position. She won't do my meds over the phone and I need to sleep. I can't be doing emergency appt with her bc I can't afford them. She's dumb for laying down the law like this. I'll just be forced to mess with my meds again...

I would talk to the doctor and explain to her that you cannot afford the emergency visits and see if you can work something out with her. If not I would try to find another doctor. It's dangerous to tweek your medication yourself.

I think it's time for a new Dr. She's just a psych nurse and will only do scheduled appts. She won't do med adjustments over the phone. Idk, I need to figure something out...

But in my state on Medicaid you can only see psych nurses. Btw, what mgs of zyprexa are u on?

Yup that's the one, although with me it's about worrying I won't know what to say.

If you're planning on drinking it I would double check it----normally only the 200 proof (100%)is safe for that the 95% is spiked with wood alcohol which is toxic----the point is it's fine for science/solvent uses but it will kill you if you drink it, but you'll go blind first....the reason they put the wood alcohol is so we as scientists don't have to pay liquor taxes on our research stuff so be careful....

Ok good---there was a trend of getting this chemical stuff at one point because its like $15 a gallon but you have to know which to get----but if you bought it at the liqour store and not off the back of a truck or a sigma catalog it should be OK....
