Hello I hope you are doing well at this time. I feel that you should tell your parents the truth about how you are feeling, and let them know that you would like to seek professional help for your problems. Take care Sincerely Soidhonia

The point of this thread is to be supportive to the member, so let's make sure we saty on that track.

Sarah, can you write down everything you are thinking and feeling like you're writing in a journal? If you can do that, you can let your parents read it. I often find it's much easier for me to communicate that way when I'm not sure how to say something.

Hugs,

Jan

Hello I hope things are going better for you at this time. Have you considered along with writing down what is wrong, maybe talking to a school counselor that maybe could help tell your parents that you want to go for help? Sometimes counselors can talk to parents in a supportive and managed way where the children are not in the middle. I hope the best for you take care soidhonia

I hope that you can have a long talk with your parents with writings you can work on your own presentation to them in your own time. There is nothing to lose and it is positive.

There is so much to learn and the school should beable to help you alone also, Good Luck and stay safe. Give yourself some personal time to get ready.

I talked to my Dad today face to face while we were in the car going far away to see these other doctors I met today and just don't really like (it is just not the same as my other doctors) I said Dad I just really wanted my old treatment and he said "Dr._________ and her husband are nuts. We know what's best for you! They said some really rude un positive comments, they should not be seeing paitents!" Hey i still have my Mom and this Psychologist I have not met yet whom is going to work with me at school. I even talked about how I want to see my other doctors and that I was going to see them in group today. I am still going to try the letter idea but I am thinking of what to write and how to put things. Any advice on seeing my old doctors? It's just like one moment I am going to see them and everything's great then all of the sudden this case worker comes up and I am in the hospital parents saying I will never see my other doctors again and that they are nuts!
