Hey,

I just escaped the family dinner shortly after finishing... so noisy now everyone is up & I just couldn't stand it any longer.

Just about to watch a movie before bed, just finishing The Day After Tomorrow.

Newtus, I can't remember the names of the meds used for nightmares. But you can look them up...

I'm grumpy, I feel like I'm gonna have to wait until I can afford a therapist to find one to work with. I guess I could say, I'm sorry but I need someone more experienced...Idk.

What do you guys think? What do you think junkdna and atypical?
what makes u believe she is inexperienced? i would stay with her just to have someone to talk to but continue looking for a diff therapist. i know finding the right match is REALLY important and can lead to a lot of healing. i hope u find someone u like and u feel is better to suit your needs

Well I think I've decided I'm gonna change. I need to change through this agency or I might go back to my old therapist. Not sure yet. Thanks for responding.

i have a few consoles and obviouslt my computer. i usually play xbox. either 360 or One. yea i play. im sure you heard of skyrim. the fallout series is good too. also bioshock. Metro. Mass Effect. Oblivion. if those all arent RPG then they are RPG-like. but i THINK they are all rpg. i have those. i like games that are multiplayer usually because i can interact with people online and chat with them. well over the xbox. its funny cause i have call of duty but i rarely play it. cause it makes me nervous knowing someones hiding in the game waiting to kill you. so last night when my ambien buzz hit me i was playing call of duty lol. im so bad at it.

Yeah I have oblivion but it was too open format for me I spent my time picking flowers and visiting caves and this ring things to fight so I never completed the story line. The last thing I played and really enjoyed was reckoning which had great designers and storytellers. I had to go back and got an early mass effect I think and I just never got into it. It seems like everything is so dark now I tend to like the final fantasy and star ocean type stuff more bright and colorful and then I do like ratchet and clank as well the guns are so fun in that one, my fav is the black sheepinator with explosive sheep. I also used to really like way back to the ps2 some of the snowboarding games they were peaceful and fun at the same time.

lol picking flowers

when i was in the one digit ages my first console was a gameboy. one of those purple see thru ones. i played pokemon like all day. the original ones. and i played that into my teens. and then when i was a preteen i got a ps1. i played a lot of skateboarding games and snowboard and stuff. then i got the xbox original. i didnt like it that much. ive had ps3 before but it wasnt until i got a 360 that the 360 like changed my life because i discovered multiplayer games outside of the PC. i used to play Runescape A LOT. lol.

i like the dark games but im not into zombies and stuff. and mind you im not good at gaming like i used to be and not THAT interested anymore but i still like it a bit. like every once and awhile.

i kinda want the sims 4 but its also kindve lost its appeal after sims 3.

I do! In fact before I got sick about a year and a half ago I was pretty handy at making my own little games for Xbox's XNA framework.

Newtus: We seem to have the same taste in games! I love all that you've mentioned, especially Fallout!

Do you have an iPhone or Android? I need to see this pipboy app!

Yeah I learned the basics in college and went from there. I'm not very good but it's alot of fun to see something come to life.

You should try some coding tutorials like codeacademy or https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/begin-programming . The future learn is an online course that starts in february and you can sign up for free.

Coding isn't always that accessible for people so many aren't exposed to it but it could be something you like and it's a great way to get the brain going.

Sorry if you've no interest, just suggesting as you like gaming!

I had a really great session with my therapist. I just realized today just how much progress we've been making. She makes me challenge my view of myself and situations so I see that some things that I thought were problems actually aren't. I used to not like this approach very much, but I realized that I've really been benefiting from it.

The downside to this: I am realizing that I may be sexually attracted to her. And that is very bad. I think this is because she really cares about me.
