I'm okay, I couldn't go to the gym today due to the weather so I'm stuck inside for the day sadly.

I need something for sleep and anxiety. I've been using my xanax for sleep, but then I don't really have anything for anxiety during the day. I've been thinking of either asking for seroquel or buspar my next visit. Idk if seroquel makes you really tired when waking up or not though for a bed time dose.

Is it normal for 'delusional' thoughts to come and go? Some days I have really strong thoughts about this place that I believe is magic and then other days I don't think about it. But all the time I still believe it's magic no matter what everyone says. Also does this sound like a delusion? I'm really confused.

They absolutely love him over here. He visited a town called Moneygall which is apparently an ancestral home of his (bulls++t) and they opened a service station a few years later called the Barak Obama Plaza! Ridiculous stuff altogether. I quite like him but the Irish are just milking it. You see loads of bumper stickers on cars with 'is feidir linn' written on them. That's 'yes we can' in Irish.

This is pretty cool though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moneyga...t_of_stout.jpg

I believe so. I had delusions about a chip in my head for about a year, some days the thoughts would be much more intense than others. Now they've faded into the background. I still think about it but it's easier for me to class it as a delusion. But to answer you're question, I believe they would be delusions.
Thanks for this!

Ah no it is, he met a man that was his eighth cousin in Moneygall. I just don't like how the Irish milk it to make money. They did the same with JFK, there's these visitor attractions that people make money out of, same with that Barack Obama Plaza thing. It just doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

Mine would come & go, although I did have some fairly steady delusions that were in the background that were always a possibility but I was never sure... suspicions as you will.

I really don't think it matters if your delusions come and go, they are still delusions.

*edit* - my 666 post... devilish. roll call 43

Thank you chicken and loial. It's a belief that has been with me for a couple of years now. It doesn't distress me but it makes me feel like I have to go there and be in the other dimension. Maybe I should talk about it with my cpn cos whenever she asks if I have any strange thoughts I always say 'no' because I've never thought about it as being a strange thought or that it's strange that is still there after all this time.

i believe its normal. theres been a few times in the past where i thought maybe being followed was not real.

but then i look back at everything that has factually happened to me. i think i just dont want it to be real. but it very much is.

i personally dont know anyone else on this board who has truly gone through what i went through (with people actually following me)...and not just citizens but police and private investigators and other people....school officals...etc. i feel like i have every right to be afriad. its just...its real for me.

Thank you newtus that helps. Sometimes I wonder if it actually is a delusion but it just all feels so real that I can't believe that it would not be real.

Took risperidone to calm me a little. It will mop up the extra dopamine as my psychiatrist says. Because I seem to be off the rails which is insane considering my recent post. Just life problems I'm sure. I don't need to be aggravated by people I'm recovering still

I was certain my delusion and hallucinations were real until Abilify finally made them go away. Now I'm humiliated by all the phone calls I made to various strangers and police about the psycho stalker which never existed. And the money I spent moving so many times to get away from him.

I've been on medication before and I can't remember if I still believed it or not. I think I did. I'm not on medication now. Been off it for a couple of months

I was on meds at certain points before the Abilify, but not for long enough to realize I was delusional.

How long did it take for you to realise? I was on medication for about 6 months. I started believing it again towards the end of being on meds and then I stopped taking them.

I was on meds on and off for about a year with no change. Then I went onto a depot of clopixol which meant I was compliant with meds, about four months later my head started to clear. When you've been so determined you are correct about a certain thing it doesn't just go away overnight. I would imagine some of it is biological and helped by the meds but I would say it's personality based as well, it can be hard to give up on such an idea that has been a big part of your life.

It took at least 3 months of being on 10 mg Abilify.
