I know what you mean. When I'm on meds I can't concentrate like I normally can. The professionals always say it's the illness but I don't buy it. These meds have side effects and they just don't want to hear about it. Pisses me off...

Just a question, do you think you have more vivid dreams when you're taking an antipsychotic? When I was taking haldol and other AP's too I have really vivid dreams...

I'd try dexmethylphenidate again to lessen the fatigue and increase focus. Idk I'm on a stimulant and an antipsychotic which works for me. But I mean it does sound ridiculous for someone with schizophrenia but strattera is a non stimulant and is supposed to be good.

Idk why they don't put schizophrenics on modafinil. Maybe it causes psychosis.

I took too much coffee..

I want my emotions back - I've lost my passion.

I'm going to be in hospital near the end of the month, unless I agree to get it at the hospital, which if it's the one that smells of pee, I might have to do - can't breathe that for 3 days.

Could it be hypnagogic hallucinations from the drowsiness? I took double my chlorpromazine dose the other day due to anxiety and was hallucinating music playing and felt like I was going from dreams to reality. I got this when I first started the med too. Just a thought.

That's what I think. SSRIs are the ones that increase dreams. For me clonazepam and seroquel increased the voices dramatically. Same with when I wake up after drinking heavy I start to have a non psychotic episode in the morning like I'm dreaming..

I just came back from school and I think a teacher was yelling at me for smoking but like I lit it up after I passed the playground so. Or cuz I left school early for feeling edgy. It just doesn't help with voices when people yell at me for real

I'm very sure it didn't happen though and it's all in my head but I always get in trouble for everything so if I'm ever psychotic I think ya.. I've something wrong and someone is going to try and find me to do something about it -.-

Had a terrifying nightmare last night.

Trigger Warning:

There was this lady walking behind me with her daughter, a baby. She took the child and smashed their head into the sidewalk. It was so graphic. Then I had one where blood was pouring out my face. And I keep passing out in my dreams and feel like right before a seizure is about to happen which I had one when I had Lithium Toxicity. It's so realistic. Not sure what's causing this but I hate it so much, I'm so sick of going to bed and dreaming of things like this

Yup I've noticed my concentration has gone down massively whilst on Abilify & it's meant to be one of the better tolerated ones. I can only imagine what some of the worst are like.

I too have lost my drive on Abilify, I still do things but just not with the same passion like you say. I wish I could get it back. Maybe it's mild depression but then again it's probably just the meds.

As for the hospital, best to agree rather than be forcibly taken there. Don't want a stay there longer than you have to.

Yeah I've had this too. A few times whilst taking naps I've had music and or voices shouting things just as I'm drifting away.
