Graduating is stressful for everyone. Change in general is stressful, but you are a strong person and managed to cope with all the stresses over the years with uni and work and your job, so I'm sure you will manage just fine. Just take extra good care of yourself during this blip, especially sleep, and hopefully you can head it off before it gets too big

Lol that was fairly easy! He's not normally awake so late (it's 1:40am here).

It's the UK general election next week. It's worrying me. I'm concerned that the Conservatives will get in again. I'm not sure I (or many others on benefits) will physically survive another term of them in power...It's probably not safe to say anything else, things are bad enough already :/

...I don't really know what to talk about?? I've been quite isolated lately IRL and with not posting here...What's everyone been up to lately?

Thanks...it's ok. I've just noticed there are more smilies! Will have to have a look at them all. Are you posting less cos you're more engaged IRL? Glad you're ok - are you still on the Abilify/aripiprazole?

Good luck with school!

He's a shih tzu cross. I've posted pics before of Max, so he looks like that.

Hi Atypical! I guess you're probably all settled in your new place by now? How is it, and things in general?

Is anyone else unable to sleep until 5-6am?! My body clock is seriously broken :/

Just chillin. 3 months in one of the best psychiatric hospitals in the world. Sitting around, walking, swimming, smoking crack, going to groups, making friends etc..

Just taking it easy with life and learning how to deal with my emotions especially stress in the real world.

My two therapists should be famous. They are beyond amazing at what they do.

3 months is a long time to be stuck in a hospital! I can't think of anything worse, but then both of my admission were beyond awful. Still, good Ts must help - they are like gold dust!

Is everyone in chat? I can barely keep up with roll call when it gets going so I can't see that happening for me!

Hi Angelique! Thanks! How's things with you? I'm sorry can you relate. I've given up going to my GP about sleep meds because they don't help and the side effects make me almost blind (I can cope with the rest). I've tried resetting my body clock (they call it 'chronotherapy' which sounds very fancy! Lol), having a bed time routine, getting up at the same time every day (though ended up in the hospital last time I stuck rigidly to that: I imagine weeks of 1-2 hours sleep a night didn't help things), relaxation...basically have given up now and am sleeping until lunch time most days when I don't have to get up, and sometimes even when I do, which isn't good but I don't really know what else to try.

Is there a link between psychosis and messed up body clocks?? Cos I think I remember a few people here having a similar sleep pattern (unless I'm remembering wrong?), but no one I know IRL finds it so hard to sleep. It's not that I *can't* sleep, just that I can't sleep until 5-6am, no matter how early I got up or how active I was that day...it's weird.

wow! I'd forgotten how long it takes me to post! Lol

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Sorry I disappeared, I had to go to the bathroom. I hope you'll be able to sleep tonight. I've been OK although not doing well with the negative symptoms.

Yeah, I'm settling in nicely. I still have a lot of stuff to unpack, I have so much stuff it's ridiculous lol. I love the new place, it's far better for my mental health.

Schizophrenia-wise I'm doing pretty well all things considered, I still have episodes but they don't last as long and aren't as severe on medication(I'm taking Haldol).

I've been sleeping like utter **** lately, if that makes you feel any better. I only got four hours last night/this morning. My sleep schedule is all screwed up right now too. It's awful, between the Haldol, Klonopin, and Trazadone I should be knocked out but alas I'm not. It's so frustrating! So yeah, I sympathize with you there.
