Whenever I've heard voices in my head they've always been inside my head. What does that mean? Does that confirm a Bipolar diagnosis?

Hi Phil,

I have a friend who had auditory hallucinations outside of him and he was dx'd with bipolar. I think you can have both.

All sorts of things, mainly things about them killing me or torturing me or something similar.

Maybe you're hearing the voice of suffering. I'm reminded in this moment of this passage...<blockquote>The 17th century Shi'ite mystic Mir Damad heard "the great occult clamor of beings," the "silent clamor of their metaphysical distress;" it appeared to him as a music of cosmic anguish and as a sudden black light invading the cosmos.

Speaking of super powers, yesterday I had an attack of psychosis (involving super powers) and moods at the same time. No matter what mood I was in, I was having psychosis. These were both less severe due to the meds but taht usually doesn't happen with Bipolar does it? Could I be Schizoaffective?
