Can you call the police again to make sure that their colleagues are on the way?

I'm afraid to. I called routine calls, not the emergency number. So maybe they just aren't going to come. They are sitting quietly downstairs, no doubt waiting for their chance to lie. Since they're quiet now I'm afraid to call 911. Because they aren't doing anything now and they'll lie and make me look crazy.

I seriously think that you should move, Angelique. I mean not now asap, but soon if they keep scare you off.. Have you took your meds tonight, btw?

Yes, I'm on all my meds. I totally agree I should move. I'm just afraid they might kill me before I can. I'm afraid to get up and go to the bathroom. They'll hear me and might start pounding again. Or break in here. I've been terrified of that lately and now here I am with that looking very possible.

I am praying for your safety Angelique.. What time is it there at your place? You will be much safer as soon as the morning come, right? A lot of people will be awaken..

It's 4:15 am. They started at about 1:40 am. Theyre still sitting down there, i think waiting for police to lie to. I dont think the police are coming, or they already did but it was quiet by then? Its at least 3 hours until the sun comes up. Thinking what if the pounding was meant as a distraction for one of them to break in the back room. The bathroom is right next to the back room and im afraid to go back there.



Yes. I've been thinking that for over a year but without a car and being broke I can't get organized to go looking for a new place. Also don't know where to look. This town isn't very good.

Hmm.. Angelique, this is just my opinion. But if they really wanna do you a harm, they should have done it before now (4.00 am at your place). An hour or two after mid night would be perfect for them. I think if they wanna harm you now, they would know that it is too risky because the other people might wake up early (means at this very hour). Some people do wake up early right? So, I think you are safe now.. How about you find some place in your house that you feel more safe than anywhere else and try to sleep there?

I don't think I'll be able to go to sleep until daylight. I'm in the safest room right now, with my window that opens right onto the street below. Not that I'd jump out of it. Maybe the kitchen would be safer if it weren't so cluttered. I don't think anyone gets up early around here. But thank you for the encouragement! I think I'll try going to the bathroom. Which floor is your room? If it's in a high place window is not an option. How long have you been thinking about your neighbor wants to do you harm, btw?

I'm on the 2nd floor. I've been worried about them for a long time now.

It's almost 5am. That's good news. I remember reading that most violent crime happens between 2 and 4 am. I just don't know if they broke in in the back room.

Have you talked about this with your Pdoc? I am NOT saying that it is just you being paranoid, but we must think about all the possibilities. If your Pdoc said you are not being paranoid, and your fear is real, I am sure they can give you some advice.. and some help maybe, like helping you finding a new place, or talk to the police, etc..

I actually did tell him that I'm afraid of anyone breaking in the back room. The pounding was real, not a hallucination. I will bring up my fears again next time if I'm still alive.
