Do you think you are more or less stable off of it? I mean it seems like you are more stable but I was just wondering if that was the case or not. I always wonder about the dose curve in those injections where sometimes you have too much in your blood and sometimes too little but all the studies suggest that injections are better I think due to compliance and people just forgetting to take meds from time to time.

Yep, I have to agree here Junk, you seemed more stable with the injection. The issue you had, was that when the med was wearing out( from your injection) you were symptomatic.

I think I was more stable on the Injection but I would die before I admitted that to my NP. She asked if I wanted back on it. I said heck no. I had genetic testing done and it said I don't metabolize a lot of pills at a normal rate. Things have been okay overall off the shot except for the past few months... I'm losing hope and feel like each day is getting more unbearable

The process could be working its way through. Because you are taking oral meds , you are supplementing for the loss of the injection. Sz's are known to be off meds for relatively long period before symptoms return. Not that your off meds, but you could well be on poorer performing meds in terms of your unique biological makeup.
Thanks for this!

Ciao ragazzi!

How are you all? I'm doing very well. Lets see whats going good:

-I'm doing well in school
-feeling good mentally
-I'm motivated
--The Mets won last night after a 3 run homer!
-I watched the new show "Pitch" on Fox last night
-My phone broke last night BUT it was a cheap alcatel onetouch and my sister is giving me a prepaid Samsung Galaxy 3
-I'm out of food BUT my sister is going to help me out
-I am going to start working out beginning next week at the YMCA

I could go on and on, but basically my point is I'm doing very well and I hope everyone else is as well, I know not everybody is but if I could share some of this good feeling I would

I got some good ideas for AP meds from the med section here. I wonder if I'll still get denied by my insurance company because of off label use. Because schizoaffective isn't specified. What do you take?
Right now I'm on gabapentin 1200 Mgs, Effexor 300 mgs, lamictal 100 mgs, haldol 8mgs, Latuda 120 mgs, Ativan .5, ambien 10mgs.
I've taken seroquel, risperdal, zyprexa and Thorazine. I think that's it for APs.
I got a disturbing letter yesterday. I didn't need that on top of being in this depression. I'm really having a tough time right now.
i take 300mgs of clozaril

Morning guys...

Week 4 of college done! Enjoying it so far. Anxiety may play up at times, or some paranoia creeps through but overall that's not causing too much problems.

I managed to get in for 2 full days out of 3 this week, having missed a few days & having a late start one day in the past couple of weeks.

Hopefully back on track now. Got a month to submit all the work that we've been doing in class & having to finish at home, so that takes a little pressure off.

Today I have one goal: clean!

I hope everyone has a good day.

I am going to the day hospital for 2 more weeks instead of college. I am studying there, activities are still... boring or unhelpful. I have weekly appointment with pdoc -he is also my psychotherapist-. Today I am going to get 2-3 more rats and 4 gerbilles (is spell like this?)

Good morning

Was feeling crappy, but feel better now after a nap. Woke up with a yellow furry tail infront of my nose. Is there any better anti-depressant than that?

@Loial : Glad your college went well
@Bluebird : Happy to hear that you are doing better now, thanks for the good vibe!

My body clock rarely lets me sleep past 7am no matter how late I got to bed.^

My sleeping schedule is totally getting out of whack though... which is strange from me.

Gone from sleeping well (for me), to oversleeping... to waking up early and now I'm not falling asleep well either which is strange for me.

I think to be honest, I was shattered this afternoon & half-slept from 4-6ish, so that's probably why I can't get to sleep tonight.

If I keep this up, I'll turn from a morning person to being nocturnal soon.

I think it's just not being able to turn my mind off. Hard to when damn voices are saying things & that makes me think about things.

Yay on the no symptoms front.

What music are you listening to?
