As I expected and dreaded, they want me to stay here longer term. They haven't said a year or 6 months but I'm afraid that's what they mean.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the support It was a massive shock as they have no case, but I'm still waiting for the official decision that will detail their reasoning (though I don't understand why they can't give me it there and then, but they never do).

Gr3tta: Nice to see you! I'm not actually in hospital. I moved to a rehab unit nearly 8 weeks ago, so it's unlocked and I have more freedom. Is that what you mean? I don't think we have adult foster homes in the UK.

I have my 6 week assessment meeting on Monday (though it's actually 8 weeks by then) with my pdoc and nurse, so I will find out what the plan will be then. I was hoping he would let my section expire on 22nd, but the fact that he fought me at the tribunal probably means that is unlikely, so it will be renewed for up to a YEAR now

As you all know i live in a very isolated area. Well all my neighbors around me (who have ATT) phones couldnt recieve or send calls. Its been like this for a few days. Well we all went to the ATT store together and we basically raised hell about it and called tech support. They said they were gonna send crews to fix it. Still hasnt been fixed. So that riled me up and got my blood running.

But yea.
Get everyone to download Mark the Spot app by AT&T, and fill out the complaint.

Oh no. I hope you can get released! I also am in a rehab/nursing home and they want me to stay a freak of a long time. I'm more worried now.

You said before it's a nursing home - are they actually providing you with nursing care, or do you mean it's a residential home? In the UK they are 2 different places, though you might not have the same distinction in the US??

Is there anything positive about being there? You were so miserable in your flat I just wonder if being around others your age might be a good way to socialise, and having staff nearby for support? And there isn't your bad neighbours there, or those stairs you couldn't manage, or your hoarded possessions etc. So I'm wondering if it might not work out best for you in the long run...

Thanks Willow. So far there isn't much socializing for me. My roommate doesn't speak and I'm very self conscious on the smoking breaks. I'm getting physical and occupational therapy. But I hate the bathroom and shower. Only one shower for the whole floor I think.

Tweaky, thank you for your advice. Ignoring / ghosting is working pretty well.

That might ease once you get used to being there and more familiar with the others. Hopefully the physical therapy is looking at improving your confidence around stairs if you ever do go back to that flat? What is it about the bathroom/shower you hate? Doing OT and showering etc will help them see you are ready to go home, if that is what you want.

Yes, but even in the hospital they still detain me for 8 days Everytime I'm there. And then this last time they put me in cardiology for 5 weeks after 9 or 10 days in the psych wing.

They want me to be here for a year, I get that vibe the way they talk about it. I might be able to get a hearing about it but I'm too afraid of the consequences of getting on the wrong side of people.

I'm scared when I think about it. I might be on the bad side of the cook. She came to see me earlier to ask what I had said about the food and to give me the menu. 🤐

Thanks, me too. I'm in poor shape so I need a lot of physical therapy. They're working me kind of hard, exercises that are tough to do to strengthen my muscles and improve my balance. I don't know how long this is all going to take. The goal is to make me independent again. Why is life so hard?

And why does the one lady who presides over some smoke breaks always send me back in first?

I feel so uncomfortable right now and I can't watch TV because my mute roommate always has hers on. Goodbye to the walking dead, and everything else I follow.

It makes perfect sense why fate is so insurmountable. Just when I was already softening to free will, that's a lesson for me.

It's awful. I'm going to need more clothes.

And the weather is beautiful. If I were home, I'd not be out in the weather but hanging out inside the whole time. At least here I get to go outside 3 or 4 times a day.

I feel tired today. Maybe I'm just not sleeping enough.

I suppose the pills are kind of working. I don't know anymore. I still believe things. Things that other people don't. Can't make me not believe them.

At least the mirror people are gone. They're not watching me and stealing my image. And my right hand is mine again it's not been replaced.

Whatever lol.

Every night I get RLS no matter where I am. I'm starting to get tired. They were hoping I'd take the Trazodone but I just don't care for that one. I need a night time benzo but I can't ask for it. They do still give me a low dose of benzo (looks like generic kpin) in the morning.

I feel quite better. I love Zyprexa it's so much better than Invega and mood enhancing if only it came in injection cuz I know I'll just stop my meds if not on an injection.
