So much better than win 8.....only thing is it's so breakproof I don't even know how to fix it if it ever does something....aside from task manager.....I only recently learned how to pin the programs I wanted to start because it's easier to use Cortana and just type 1 letter.

Its awesome! I have everything Apple. Except the apple watch. I sold that to my mom. I never used it. It sat in my room on the floor for months. My mom uses it everyday. I just wanted to get use out of it. You can text on it and recieve calls and all that good stuff and it has apps and all, but its really more for if you work out. She works out 3 hours a day. I dont.

Yes, Apple is UNIX based, funny fact in Jurassic Park when they are navigating the UNIX systems for the park they are using a bunch of old Apple/Silicone Graphics gear and that OS they used really existed.

Thanks for this!

I used to be a Mac girl. I had a MacBook Retina mid-2012 version, decked out high end model. I loved that laptop and did bootcamp with Windows 7. I had to sell it due to finances. I also had an iPhone 5 for a couple years. Apple isn't the same as they used to be and I'm happy with the improvements to Android 6.0 to 7.0 so I use android devices these days.
Thanks for this!

Good morning/afternoon everyone, how is everyone doing?

I'm doing okay. Unfortunately I discovered my Galaxy S7 had a faulty headphone jack, so I went to Telia and they sent it in for repairs. One to two weeks they said. Slightly frustrated by this, cause I want to use it. Ah well, at least my case and screen protector will be here by the time I pick up my repaired phone.

Now I have a desktop, I decided to put Linux Mint on my laptop by itself... previously I'd had dual boot but mostly used Windows. Unfortunately my laptop HDD has failed so I need to replace it. Can't afford to do that for now.

Things are dark today. How can everyone else not sense it? They walk around happy and talking, like nothing has changed. I have to remind myself that nothing HAS actually changed, just me.
Talked to my cpn today. We discussed my diagnosis and she said she agrees that it's schizophrenia. She's known me for a good length of time now so I think I trust her opinion. I'm still in two minds about it. But it's days like this that confirm it more for me.

Does that have your real name on it? You might want to take it down if you're not comfy sharing that....

Also Linux is cool

I wish Linux were more popular but I think so many of us are stuck with windows or iOS because of office compatibility.....my laptop is my work computer so I need PowerPoint word and photoshop and illustrator to be compatible with other people so we can work together. My only experience with Linux was my little n800 and I have mixed feelings about it. There is so much customization which is cool but you also have to know what you're doing to some extent to get things to work...at least at that time on that device you had to pick sort of sub files to install or not rather than just clicking through an install. For those of you on Linux can you tell me why mint? I thought ubunutu was the best supported?

How is everyone doing?
I'm having a good day so far. Kids are still snoozing. I wish I was.
