Clinics don't really do chest pain anyway.....you're supposed to go to the ER for that. I'm sorry your family couldn't be there to pick you up. I know when I mentioned chest pain to my T she always thought I should go see a doctor.....problem was I was hallucinating chest pain so she made me call my pdoc and I described the pain and he had to decide whether it was an actual heart attack.....felt like electrical zaps to my heart, it was awful.

It's 10:08pm where I am and I'm really sorry to hear of the spiders. Can you call a nurse to clear them out of your room? I hope so. I hope you'll get some quality sleep. I'm afraid of everything in my apartment, spiders, burglars, thieves, rodents - the scumbags downstairs...The janitor... I can't stop worrying. Good luck, Willow.

My mom is the same way, even though I haven't lived with her since I was 14. I'm 31 now. My dad lives with me due to his own health issues, but he is much more understanding. So I completely understand how a parent treats you as a child no matter what age you are.

I appreciate you replying.

I had a crazy day.

Good to know about clinics vs hospitals. My medicare pays for most of the payment of a hospital. Thats he good thing about medicare. Part A & B pays for most of it. Im assuming with everything i got done today ill only have to pay 100 dollars or less. The first time i only had to pay 20 bucks. The second, 70 bucks.

My sister says i should goto a clinic because its cheaper and she said someone has to pay for medicare so i need to look for an alternative to hospitals.

Thank you Angelique I've killed the real spider, but the problem is that every time I see a real spider I get really creeped out, and then the not real spiders become 100x more creepy. Normally I try to ignore them and tell myself that they're not real but, after seeing a real one, I can't be sure that the others aren't real either so I keep getting startled by them. And I can't involve the staff because they're the ones putting the real spiders in my room when I'm out, so I can't admit that they're upsetting me because that's what they want. I just want to go home where it's safe

Wow. I wish more people had the compassion to vote for a universal healthcare system. I for one am happy you have healthcare. It's a sin that this country doesn't provide such a thing for everyone.

That sucks that it'll be cloudy...hopefully the weather forecast is wrong and you will be able to see it!

I don't have any plans tomorrow. Will probably walk the dog somewhere and see my family but that's about it... Hopefully go to the cinema either Tuesday or Wednesday, but not sure what to see yet... Plus enrolling for some MH courses on Tuesday morning.

Yet the Govt here seem to want us to go towards a US-style system... *bangs head against brick wall* It's alright for them because they're all loaded and can afford private healthcare (lots of them own shares in it too...)

Yes they are actually forecasting t storms so even though I managed to get five pairs of glasses they will probably be wasted. My only hope is friends In The outlying burbs will get to see. Luckily I saw one as a child......

Yeah I'm not sure what's good at the movies either...we just watched batman v superman on DVD it wasn't bad but the bf is remarkably non geeky for being in IT and did not know the basic superman story so had no idea like Lois lane or lex Luther or anyone.....hope you have fun

I know, me too. In one of the apartments I moved to in 2006, I think, there were giant spiders in my apartment after I'd come home from riding my bicycle. The carpet was beautiful there and each dead spider gave me terrible panic. At the time I was on bad terms with the management. I was so freaked I called an exterminator to get rid of the spiders. I think things got better, or less spiders after that but it was really expensive. I should have collected the dead ones and put them in a jar and sued the managers for planting giant spiders right where I sat and slept. :/

I know it will be sad, they said keep pets indoors and stuff......plus there was this guy on the news who said he stared at it on a bet in high school and now mostly can't see. You can go blind in under two minutes even with intermittent exposure, it's cumulative damage. They also said it may not happen immediately. Someone should write a story about thenday everyone looked up in their gov issued solar glasses and went blind and then like the whole society except for a few people are blind and how blind is the new norm....so like cars would be banned etc.

I wasn't so fussed on that film when I saw it. I occasionally watched the superman TV series growing up so I knew the basics, but I never watched the old movies. Tbh I prefer the Marvel films to the DC ones so far.

I want to see The Dark Tower, but it's not out yet in my local cinema, so I'm not sure what to see instead or if we will bother. It's kind of expensive to go to see a film you're not really fussed about, even with 2 for 1 tickets (I have an app for buying my car insurance through a particular comparison website that gives 2 for 1 cinema tickets for a year on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, which saves me soooo much money!)...

I have asked repeatedly for them to get maintenance in to seal up all of the holes between the floor and skirting boards/walls, but they won't. This number of spiders is just not normal! I've never seen so many indoors before! *shudder*
