its super annoying hearing voices and beign scared because my parents arent real and my real parents are dead...

but its even worse when the meds that are supposed to help with something dont helpa t all

Is there nothing to be gained by taking time out and finding out what went wrong, if it's with him or her or you, and maybe doing a little self discovery and maybe even perfection? I question how well a person can really know themselves if they haven't spent time alone. Maybe I'm too dark. Your advice sounds solid but I'm glad I built myself up before I started to date. Maybe I was in a place where I had to where most of you aren't.

Have you tried a pill pox to keep all your meds in order for each day? I had to use one of those when I was having spouts of memory problems.

I didn't date for 36 years......plenty of time spent alone, gotta make up for lost time. The ex and I had cultural differences, not really anyone's fault....he felt I should share with him my last jar of food even though I needed it for food for the week, I felt we should just stop by the grocery for food. He said his version of generousity would involve letting distant relatives stay for years while sleeping in his bed while he slept on the floor. I'm just not like that nor do I want to be. Basic incompatibility in something he considered important.....

For me I have no desire to experience discomfort if I can control it.

Yep, you've definitely have had time to think. If your ex had been female, I wouldn't be compatible either.

I was diagnosed with BPD when I was 16. The diagnosis prevented me from getting treatment. I am convinced that this label permitted clinicians to be rude and dismissive towards me. It implied that I had a history of trauma and was dramatic in everything I did, which was inaccurate. At the time I was under a lot of stress and on a medication that made me chronically suicidal. After the stress dissipated, and I stopped the medication, the symptoms went away and never returned. At the time I didn't have any psychotic symptoms.

Yes he was from Jordan which is has a fairly unique culture......he was a good guy but he also wanted kids and I didn't....we knew this on date one but somehow thought it didn't matter.....so yeah on this one like a day was long enough to figure out what went wrong....no need for deep contemplation, we broke up over a jar of spaghetti sauce.

Yes i did. Thats what i call the main one. The important one. I took everything. The rest of my gaba pills prescribed for today and my haldol.
