Post no. 1 of the 27th of September 2017;

Morning all!

I had an amazing sleep. I was dreaming for like 6 hours straight then had more sleep. Usually I just toss and turn constantly all night. I've never felt this refreshed without stimulants in a long time.

I was told in school as a kid that the brain never shuts off. It's true. I remember a stimulant addict in the psych ward said that she would bang her head on the wall in the hospital because her brain wouldn't shut off. I didn't believe her until she showed me the bumps on her head.

I'm going to label my posts with dates until I post 5 dates at once so it doesn't get lost in schiz thought space.

See, imma smart that way..

I love free deals. I got 3 audio books from Audible for free because of my Prime membership:

X-Files: Cold Cases (almost finished), Die Trying by Lee Child and I pre-ordered X-Files: Stolen Lives.

I think to date I've got 6 free audio books through various deals. Love it.

The voices were quiet last night,
Well, as quiet as they'll ever get I guess
They just didn't talk directly to me, nth talked to each other all night

It's good I guess

I am still in bed,
I don't know if I am ready to get out yet

You know what I absolutely hate?

When people try to tell you what you should or shouldn't eat
Especially if you eat healthy,

I am mostly vegan (vegetarian always) and you have no idea how many people try to tell me that I shouldn't eat soy for xyz reasons, and then they show me a lot of ******** "studies" to back up their "views"

I don't tell them that the consumption of meat has been proven to lead to certain cancers and heart disease, and there is actual proof of that. I don't go around telling meat eaters that it's wrong to eat meat ethically or morally and I don't try to convince them to eat s vegan diet like me

So I don't understand whyeople think its okay to tell me what ind should not eat,
I eat soy because it's better than eating an animal and as a vegan I don't have very many options for protein

There's my rant

I just checked my Daily Mood chart and I found that I feel worst about myself when I skip class. So... no more skipping class then.

Yeah, as well as from other mammals, some people prefer goat milk because it's more tolerable to lactose intolerant people. I prefer Almond milk though. Almond milk takes so long to go bad, plus it tastes great I believe so it's win win.

I feel like I let people down and I'm a bad person when I skip work without a good reason. I made a promise to myself never to skip a class when I went to college. I kept that promise, minus the part where I was thrown into the psychward. God I only missed a week and I had the worst trouble catching up.

From WIki. So almond milk is not dairy.

Milk. This is a list of dairy products. A dairy product is food produced from the milk of mammals. A production plant for the processing of milk is called a dairy or a dairy factory.

Battlestar Galactia is a great TV series. Yay for rainy days. +1 for chilling with your cat!

PS - I worked painting and decorating for a while but I mostly just stripped, sanded and pasted wallpaper... couldn't be trusted to paint

Yeah, I have never put up wallpaper. I've taken down a bunch though. You never what your getting into until you start. I hate when they don't prime walls before they paper them. Eek!

Hanging wallpaper is a real art. Especially with complex designs where you have to line them up.

I hear you. I had it drilled into walls needed be silky smooth.

Ceilings were the worst though. Doing all that work above your head is hard work.

Good news. I no longer have to wait until January to see my psychiatrist. October 16th! Two weeks from now! How cool! I just took a gabapentin this morning. 300mgs single pill. We'll see how it makes me feel! The directions say take one pill twice a day. That doesn't seem like much.

Newt, your suppose to take three 400 mgs twice a day aren't you? I don't remember...

I have a $100 gift card for amazon. What to buy what to buy... I need new headphones, my old pair broke yesterday. So there is $15 buckaroos.
Thanks for this!

I haven't seen many people do ceilings, thank god. I've seen people put up complex designs that need to match, it looks like such a damn headache.

Yay for getting an earlier appointment. Good luck with the gabapentin. I take 400 Mgs 3xs a day but don't notice any difference.

I worked 3 hrs. That's good enough. I got everything done an hour early. Hopefully he doesn't call again.
Now I'm just relaxing with my heating pad watching tv.

Newt,
Existential Comics‏*@existentialcoms Sep 26

More
How to be an existentialist:
1. Be super existential all the time.
2. Refuse to label yourself as an existentialist.
3. Lots of smoking.

Well the Gabapentin is taking effect. It's just making me sleepy and relaxed. It's hitting harder than a benzo. Probably healthier than a benzo though. Well, I tried. I know if I ever need to get tired I can take one of these now lol. wow

I think sometimes psych meds work best when you don't notice them. It's like they are working but just become ordinary.

I believe good meds are like makeup. You're not suppose to notice make up, it's just suppose to cover stuff up and make things appear better. #deep lol
